It was almost 4 AM by the time Claire Sinclair finished the project.
Her laptop screen was tiled with a hundred tiny surveillance feeds, all of which she had hacked into. The feeds were too small to make out any details.
But that didn't matter. Claire Sinclair waited patiently. After a while, the watch on her wrist suddenly vibrated. Her phone, sitting beside her, immediately displayed an alert: 25 Eastwatch Road. S-class fugitive. Crime: Fatal hit-and-run.
At the same time, her laptop automatically switched to surveillance feed #42.
A man with shifty, rat-like eyes appeared on the feed. It was none other than Lynch, the fugitive the police had publicized online.
Just as Claire Sinclair was about to call the police, her watch vibrated again.
The screen switched to surveillance feed #1, and a familiar, devilishly handsome face appeared…

She glanced at her phone in confusion. The alert read: Kapok Crossing. Suspicious Male.
