Doctor Holloway listened for a long moment, his brow slowly knitting together. With a grave expression, he said, "Oh, I didn't catch it before, but I can feel it now. Miss Sinclair, you have a deep pulse. You must be anemic!"
Claire Sinclair furrowed her brow slightly. "Just anemia?"
Doctor Holloway froze for a second. 'I can't believe I actually guessed right,' he thought. He then continued, "Anemia is a sign of weakness in the internal organs. I'm afraid there's a problem with your heart. Miss Sinclair, do you experience symptoms of an irregular heartbeat?"
At his words, some of the anger in Claire Sinclair's eyes faded. She deliberately softened her tone and said, "That's right. Doctor Holloway, what else did you find?"
