Lin Nian hadn't wanted to deal with her sister in the first place. She just planned to treat the mother and daughter to a meal and get them out of her hair as quickly as possible. But then, Lin Yue's daughter, Xiao Ni, saw Little Fatty and Qin Shi eating chocolate by the door and ran right up to snatch it.
She didn't dare try to snatch from the tall and sturdy-looking Little Fatty, so she went for the candy in Xiao Shi's hands instead. Of course, Xiao Shi wouldn't let her and dodged away. Little Fatty, standing beside them, got pretty angry and gave Xiao Ni a push.
The little girl didn't actually fall; she just stumbled back a couple of steps. But since she knew she wasn't getting the candy, she plopped down on the ground and started to roll around, crying and screaming.
Lin Nian didn't recognize Xiao Shi at first. Xiao Shi had gotten a little chubbier and fairer, and besides, Lin Nian had only seen her a few times.
