Jay-Jay's POV
The room went cold. The air felt thin. I looked Keifer in the eye and asked the question that had been haunting me.
"Keifer, why do you hate Aries so much?"
Rage flared in Keifer's eyes. He shot a look at Aries that could have burned through metal.
Keifer: "Because of him, that accident happened. We lost Percy because of him! And this idiot Percy didn't even tell us he was alive for years! That day, Aries didn't stop when we told him to. He jumped out of the car to save himself instead of saving Percy!"
I looked at Aries. Part of me wanted to stop right here—this was getting too messy, too painful. But I couldn't stop. The truth was finally coming out.
"Aries, do you want to say something?"
Aries just shook his head, looking exhausted. But Percy started waving his tied hands frantically. Elara stepped forward and pulled the cloth from his mouth.
Percy: "First of all! I was paralyzed after that accident! I couldn't contact you, and my mom wouldn't let anyone near me! And second..." Percy's voice got louder and more irritated. "Aries didn't leave me. I was the one who pushed him out of the car that day to save him!"
The room went dead silent. We all stared at Percy in total shock.
Keifer (Shouting): "If that was the truth, why didn't he tell us?! Why did he let us believe he was a coward?"
Aries (Finally shouting back): "Have you ever looked at yourself, Keifer?! You were a beast that day! You were drowned in your own anger. You never gave me a single chance to explain myself. You just blamed me and closed the door!"
For one second, I saw a flash of deep guilt in Keifer's eyes. But then, he hardened his face again. He wasn't ready to let go of the anger yet.
I turned to Percy. "And why do you hate Yuri so much? Besides the stuff with Freya?"
Percy took a deep breath and let out a roar of frustration.
Percy: "Because he ruined our friendship! Yuri saw me push Aries out of the car. He saw everything! But he didn't tell anyone. He stayed quiet and let Aries become the victim of Keifer's rage!"
Keifer shouted and said " why would he do that. Huh! He was unconscious at that time."
Percy roared back, dead serious," then ask him."
Keifer turned to Yuri, his voice deathly cold. "Is it true, Yuri? Tell me."
Yuri took a slow, heavy breath. "Yes."
Keifer : "what ?"
Yuri : "yes."
Keifer (Screaming): "Then WHY didn't you tell me?!"
Yuri (Shouting back): "Don't you dare shout at me! Don't forget that YOU were the one who refused to listen to Aries! I was a kid, Keifer! I was scared! I thought if I told the truth, you would turn that anger on me. I thought you'd kill me or abandon me just like you abandoned Aries!"
We were all stunned. The "Perfect Three" were actually three broken boys who had been living in a lie for years.
They all started arguing again, their voices overlapping in a chaotic mess of blame and pain.
Suddenly, Kuya Angelo, who had been listening quietly like an angel, finally snapped. His "Devil" side came out in full force.
Angelo: "JUST SHUT UP! ALL OF YOU!"
The room fell silent instantly. Elara stepped forward, looking at the four tied-up boys with a calm, sharp gaze.
Elara: "I think you are all equally victims and criminals here. You all made mistakes. You all stayed silent. You all chose anger over talking. It's time to stop being idiots and start recovering."
Jay-Jay's POV
The silence that followed Elara's words was heavy, but the explosive anger had finally died down. We all stood there, looking at the four most powerful, handsome, and stubborn boys in the school, and right now... they looked ridiculous.
Kuya Angelo stood up from the desk, his presence filling the room. The "Devil" was gone, replaced by the calm, commanding leader.
Angelo: "I agree with Elara. Enough is enough. The truth is out, the secrets are dead, and from this moment on—no more fighting. Am I understood?"
The four of them didn't say a word. Keifer looked outside the window, Aries looked at the wall, Percy was staring at his own shoes, and Yuri was biting his lip.
They were sitting there, tied up and silent, looking exactly like awkward brides waiting for a wedding they didn't want to attend.
I almost wanted to laugh, but my heart was still a little shaky from all the drama.
Angelo: "Elara, untie them."
Elara quickly moved and loosened the ropes. As soon as their hands were free, they didn't lung at each other. They just sat there, rubbing their wrists and avoiding eye contact.
The tension was still there, but it wasn't a "I want to punch you" tension—it was a "I don't know how to look at you" tension.
Angelo: "And now... all of you. Go home."
Keifer: "But Jay—"
Angelo: " I am taking her home. She needs real rest, not to be in the middle of your quadrilateral mess. Go home, cool your heads, and think about what was said today."
Aries stood up first, looking at me with a soft, apologetic gaze. He opened his mouth to say something, but Angelo pointed toward the exit.
One by one, they started to leave. Percy shuffled out, for once not mentioning his handsomeness.
Yuri followed, looking like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders.
Keifer was the last to leave. He stopped by the door, looking back at me with eyes full of a thousand unspoken words.
Keifer: "Get some rest, Jay. I'll... I'll call you tomorrow."
I nodded softly. As the hallway finally emptied, I let out a breath I felt like I'd been holding since the mini-mart. It was over. The secret that broke their friendship was finally out in the light.
Author's POV
The hospital hallway was finally quiet.
Boys and jay wsa gone.
Outside, Elara stood alone.
The playful, mysterious girl who had helped Jay-Jay tie up the boys was gone. In her place stood someone unrecognizable.
She swung her bag over her shoulder, her movements sharp and cold. The air around her seemed to drop a few degrees.
She reached into her pocket, pulled out her phone, and plugged in her earbuds. As the music began to play, she took a deep breath, and her eyes—usually so full of mischief—turned a haunting shade of red.
There was something dark and unreadable in her gaze.
It wasn't just anger; it was a settled, chilling resolve. She looked toward the exit, her face a mask of stone.
"I am coming, Watson," she murmured to herself, her voice barely a whisper but sharp as a knife. "And this time... no one is going to save you."
Without another word, she stepped out of the hospital and into the shadows of the streets.
She didn't head for a taxi or a bus. She simply walked into the darkness, disappearing into the city like a ghost on a mission.
The secrets of the boys had been revealed, but it seemed Elara was carrying a secret of her own—one that was about to change everything.
