Eternal Night Monarch City
The bustling streets teemed with crowds, shops on either side overflowing with customers. The air buzzed with the clamor of vendors hawking their wares and the chatter of passersby, filling the entire city.
Guards clad in jet-black armor patrolled the streets, their long spears held in uniform formation.
In the air above, personnel and demonic beasts darted back and forth.
Though the Demon Realm was eternally dark, the streets were lined with luminous stones, bathing the city in a light as bright as day.
As Ning Yechen strolled through the streets with Luo Ruying, their appearance immediately caused a stir.

Luo Ruying hesitated for a moment, then nodded slightly. "Then thank you for your kindness."
Compared to the poisonous insects and demonic beasts she'd seen earlier, this beautiful raw fish was much more palatable.
Without a word, the stall owner drew his knife again and sliced off dozens of pieces, handing them to Luo Ruying.
