A colossal stone statue of the Demon Sovereign, dozens of *zhang* tall, stood at the center of the plaza.

To everyone's disbelief, the person busy grilling at the cart was none other than the guardian commander of Eternal Night Monarch City, the First Seat Demon God, Lord Ye Tianshen...

Ye Tianshen glanced at the barbecue cart behind him, shook his head, and declared firmly, "Lord Demon Sovereign, I am not selling barbecue."
"Then what is this...?" Ning Yechen demanded, pointing at the cart.
"This is an improved barbecue cart!" Ye Tianshen explained without hesitation.
Ning Yechen: "..."
His resolute answer left Ning Yechen speechless.
"So this is just selling barbecue!"
"Not at all, Lord Demon Sovereign!"
"It's free!"
"So it doesn't count as selling barbecue!"
Ye Tianshen argued earnestly.
Ning Yechen: "..."
The Demon Sovereign was so angry he almost smashed Ye Tianshen's food cart.
Luo Ruying couldn't help but cover her mouth and giggle.
Yue Qingyou didn't scold Ye Tianshen; instead, she gave him an approving look.

Seeing Ye Tianshen suddenly disappear, Luo Hongye asked in her soft voice, holding the sausage: "Daddy, did the barbecue uncle leave?"
"He went to get a big kitty for Ye Ye."
Ning Yechen took out a handkerchief and gently wiped Luo Hongye's mouth, smiling.
The moment he finished speaking, a demonic beast, over two zhang long and more than one zhang tall, descended from the sky, its tiger-like form complete with bared fangs, sharp horns on its head, and a pair of jet-black wings.
Dark lightning surged through its claws, arcs of electricity crackling through the air!
