Chapter 169 - Eternal Mangekyo Sasuke, Wandering “Haku”

"I understand!"

"I will become the strongest man!"

"Well said! That's the spirit of youth, Guy!"

"Dad!"

"Guy!"

"Dad!"

The two of them called to each other, then hugged tightly, crying their hearts out.

Yuki Seisui and Uchiha Haru exchanged a glance, shaking their heads helplessly. This was just how Might Duy and Might Guy were—they were used to it.

"Guy, training doesn't stop today either!"

"Start with ten laps around Konoha!"

"Got it!"

After saying goodbye to Seisui and Uchiha Haru, Might Duy left with Might Guy. Before leaving, he gave Seisui a thumbs-up, a look of gratitude shining in his eyes.

Even from a third-person perspective after his "death," he clearly saw Seisui's actions and, knowing Seisui's strength, understood that his final punch wouldn't have broken through his defense. The result was entirely orchestrated by Seisui himself.

Why did he do it? Might Duy knew perfectly well but didn't voice it. On the surface, he might seem like a fool, but anyone who really thought he was a fool would be the true fool—like some Konoha civilians or lower-ranked ninja.

Once Might Duy and Might Guy left, Seisui slumped onto the table, letting out a deep sigh.

"So tired…"

"Are you okay?" Uchiha Haru stood behind him, massaging his shoulders with a gentle smile. Compared to all the fighting, she seemed to prefer these quiet, ordinary days. But for Seisui, even battles didn't bother her—she only needed to be with him.

"I'm fine." Feeling her hands on his shoulders, Seisui turned, grabbed her small hand, and pulled her onto his lap.

Haru stumbled slightly, landing on his legs. Seisui wrapped his arms around her slender waist, resting his chin on her shoulder. The faint scent of her hair made him smile.

"Haru, you're amazing."

"I just want to be with you forever."

Blushing, she whispered, "I love you the most too, Seisui."

Feeling her affection, Seisui held her a little tighter. Having a girlfriend like this was something his past self could never have imagined. A goddess to the world, but in his arms, soft and delicate like a little cat.

They stayed like that until night, only parting when Uzumaki Kushina knocked at the door.

"You two aren't up to anything bad, are you?" she asked suspiciously.

"What could we possibly be doing?" Seisui deflected casually. "It's late—what brings you here?"

"Nothing," Kushina shook her head. "I just wanted to ask how you plan to handle them."

Seisui knew exactly who she meant—other than the Uzumaki family who came today, there was no one else. He smiled slightly and said, "Of course, they'll become ninja."

Kushina frowned. "Isn't that a bit… too much?"

"Uncle Suku is already so old."

"Are you stupid?" Seisui gave her a deadpan look. "I mean Kana Uzumaki. Eiki is already three years old—perfect for starting basic training."

Noticing his gaze, Kushina stepped back cautiously. "You're not planning to hand them over to me, are you?"

"I won't!" she insisted firmly. "I'm going to become Konoha's first female Hokage!"

Seisui laughed inwardly. In the original story, she became Hokage—but now, that wasn't going to happen.

"Don't talk like that," Seisui tried to reason. "There aren't many capable people left in the clan, so it's up to me."

"You'll have to handle it yourself," Kushina crossed her arms, unwilling.

"I've been an orphan since I was young, grew up poor, and had to fend for myself. These years, I've worked hard to become a clan leader. But I've never had formal training in sealing techniques. Now, the entire Uzumaki clan has to rely on you, Elder Kushina!"

Kushina initially scoffed at the first part but smiled at the last. Hearing Seisui call her "Elder Kushina" lifted her spirits.

"Fine, fine, since you put it that way, I'll take care of them!" she said, patting her chest for emphasis.

"Thank you so much, Elder Kushina," Seisui replied repeatedly, his words flowing like a waterfall, making her grin even wider.

As soon as Kushina was out of sight, Seisui slammed the door shut. The heavy thud echoed through the empty Uzumaki compound.

Outside, Kushina realized she had been tricked.

"Damn Seisui!" She clenched her fists, shouting a few expletives in his direction, but there was nothing she could do.

"Next time, I won't be fooled!"

Back home, Tsunade saw Kushina's flustered expression. "What's going on?"

"I was asking how Seisui plans to train the kids," Kushina hesitated, then explained how Seisui had tricked her.

"Pfft!" Nawaki burst out laughing.

"I'm trained by Orochimaru, I don't usually laugh!" Nawaki said, covering his mouth. "But I couldn't help it, hahaha!"

"Quiet!" Tsunade punched Nawaki on the head.

"Kushina is my little sister!"

"You laugh at your own sister?!"

Meanwhile, Uchiha Haru looked at Seisui with a strange expression.

"Is it really okay to trick Kushina like that?"

"What are you talking about?" Seisui replied, laughing. "I truly praised her! And I sincerely want her to be Elder Kushina!"

"I'll build a school here soon, for kids' early education, and let Kushina manage it."

Haru could only stare.

==========

A month later.

Seisui stood on the balcony, watching the small open-air classroom run by Kushina. He nodded in satisfaction. She was proving herself to be a competent "employee."

In this month, while Iwagakure and Kumogakure went to war, Konoha's atmosphere grew tense—but it didn't disturb Seisui and his friends.

However, Nawaki had it rough. Since Minato had to train in Sage Arts and couldn't do daily duels with him, Seisui focused on Nawaki instead.

Nawaki, under Tsunade and Orochimaru's protection, was like a flower in a greenhouse with little combat experience. Seisui's reasoning was solid, and Tsunade was impressed.

Every morning, Nawaki endured a few rounds of dueling with Seisui. Orochimaru was pleased—someone was teaching his disciple while freeing up his morning for experiments. A three-way win.

Nawaki, however, didn't share their enthusiasm.

Seeing Nawaki leave the house, Seisui waved from the balcony.

"See you tomorrow, Nawaki."

Nawaki nearly tripped, looking up at Seisui with a hint of resentment.

"I hope you guys go on a mission tomorrow," he muttered.

Seisui shook his head with a wry smile. He genuinely wanted to improve Nawaki's combat skills

The ninja world was unstable; who knew when a real battle might break out?

Settling into a chair, Seisui activated the summoning interface.

"Ten draws at once!"

He no longer bothered with purple dogs or yellow apes. He was strong enough—he would summon himself!

This was Haku. While the ninja himself wasn't the highlight, the Ice Style it came with was the real prize.
