Kyle held his breath and tried to think. "Wait. Hold up. Is that you, Lucas?"
Lu burst out in laughter. "Oh my goodness, Kyle. Were you shit scared already?"
Kyle inhaled a deep breath of relief. He had truly escaped afterall and was in safe hands. Hissing, he took off the wig and glasses, because the temperature in the car felt pretty much warm. "I'm so glad I'm in safe hands. How did you know to come pick me up at the perfect timing?"
Lu shook his head, taking another turn. "Fifty-seventh street, East Avenue, huh? You're sure of the address?"
Kyle chuckled. "Come on, buddy. There's no way you expect me to rattle the actual address to a total stranger, huh? That's pretty much risky, especially since the house owner is dead in quote. So, I figured I would rather drop at a closer destination."
Lu was quite impressed. "Wow. I see. You are a pretty smart ass indeed."
"So tell me. What brought you around? I know it is not coincidence." Kyle pressed.
