Chapter 1 - Weird start

A girl was resting on a bed. She was 17 years of age, Pretty face, dark skin, long hair. She was in a noble estate, her bed had red curtains hanging from the ceiling, covering certain parts of it.

Next to her bed was a drawer, sparkling with the amount of jewelry sprawled onto it. The drawer handles even had nice designs. The mirror on top of the drawer was made from a rare glass in a faraway village.

Her floors were made from wood that elf's use in their bows, making it that much more sturdy and extravagant with its blue color. Everything here showed signs of wealth.

waking up, Ella slurred her words. "Where am I?" looking around this room, she felt unfamiliar. The last place she remembers being in, she was in an argument with her relatives on the phone, and she had stayed on the crosswalk for a second too long.

The last thing she remembered was a truck honking her back to her senses, before slamming into her full speed. Now that she was in a weird old time mansion she wasn't sure how to feel.

She began feeling all over the bed for her phone, only to find nothing. "This place does look pretty nice, and my phones probably destroyed" She put her hand over her face in shame, how was she going to get back home now?

"Enough sitting here, am I paralyzed, lose any limbs?" She was still on the fact that she had been hit, people usually go through severe damage when that happened. Ella got up, and walked over to her mirror, only then did she begin to truly feel something was off. All the glittering jewelry, the mirror and most importantly, her looks.

"She had dreadlocks down to her shoulders, she was strikingly more beautiful than before, and she was wearing something she had never worn in her whole life and she had been to hospitals before.

Something told her this wasn't a surgery.

"What is happening?" she said touching her face. "On the other hand…whatever this is can't be too bad" She said grinning, her teeth forming a smile that could hypnotize. In her previous life, she looked above average with makeup, but that was about it. Now she was a Beauty of the highest caliber.

She was wearing a nightgown so comfortable she was thinking of returning to sleep. But the feeling of high suspicion was overpowering anything else. Looking out of her window, she saw her giant living quarters, with men in full plate armor guarding every place, from the main entrance, starting with a giant steel gate,

Leading to an elegant front yard, with statues that were fountains scattered across it.

"Yeah I'm on a different planet." Ella said,

Her eyes fully opened. "Whose house am I even in right now?" she began panicking a little. Backing up from the mirror, she heard her door being opened.

"Shit!"

———

The door swung open to reveal a maid with orange hair looking sorrowful as she entered the room. As she did however, she ducked in a deep breath once she found out the young noble not sleeping unconscious like she had been for months now, but standing and looking relatively fine.

"Your highness?" She said, in slight disbelief, quickly placing the bucket of clothes down.

"Yes?" Ella said in confusion. 'Apparently I'm a big shot in these parts'

"It's nice to see you awake! Please come with me, your father is going to lose his mind!"

the maid was so exited she lost a bit of etiquette, but that was unimportant.

Ella quickly grabbed her hand and let herself be taken out of the room. she was now being pulled through a hallway with the occasional

Portrait of a family member, vase, window, and most importantly, a maid or butler who looked at her as if to determine if she were real

Or not.

passing a few doors, they had gotten to some of the biggest. two man in armor were there. They were about to stop her but upon seeing the princess, they simply looked toward the maid. "This is as far as you go" seeing this, the maid began to leave. "Good luck miss Eleanor." She said, before heading to other areas to clean.

They immediately parted ways for Ella however, giving her space to open the doors.

As the doors swung open, she got a glimpse of what her father looked like. He was in a elegant suit doing paperwork. Being a noble ain't as easy as it looked, especially when your the head of a family. His mind looked clouded however. She could definitely see some of his features on her face. She would say he looked good for his age, but this was apparently her dad soo..

"Hi uh, Dad!" Ella said, wearing an awkward smile on her face. This was new to her, Introducing yourself to your parents?

The man was clearly frustrated at her first word, but he did start listening once dad rolled off her tongue. "Listen Katrina, I'll buy you whatever new horses you want, but under no circumstances will I let you continue speaking to Matthew okay? He's dangerous."

He was kindly dismissing her. This already wasn't going well, But he did get her name wrong. "I thought I was elanore?"

At the mention of that name, he shot up, eyes wide. "Its really you?" Standing up slowly, he walked over. He was standing at a height of 6,5, Dwarfing her 5'11 stature.

As he got closer, he didn't have any words, simply wrapping his arms around her.

"I'm sorry."

But more than that, she got a notification in her head, she could see it even as her face was buried in dads chest.
