Chapter 1 - Chapter 6

Samaritan and His Brother

Host:

The Sound of Thunder tells the story of the many battles fought by these teenagers. One of the most dangerous enemies they would ever face was a powerful being known as Devil. His strength was so great that even the Gods feared him. But who was he really? And why had he come to their galaxy?

Zumba:

"Who is this Devil you keep talking about? Is he someone we should really fear?"

Zandra:

"If he hasn't shown himself yet, then he's probably a coward."

Zambia:

"Before anything else, shouldn't we name our team? How about The Survivors? Since we survived Mohab."

Zumba:

"What about The Sound of Thunder?"

Zambia:

"That sounds lame. How about Descendants of the Sun?"

Zandra:

"And why exactly should we agree to that?"

Lily:

"Seriously? Is this really the time for this?"

God of Life:

"You do not understand who you are facing. Let me tell you a story. It may help you understand."

The teenagers fell silent.

God of Life:

"Millions of years ago, our ancestors were ruled by a great king. He had two sons—Samaritan and his younger brother. They lived in peace until the king decided it was time to leave this world and enter the Spirit Realm, where old Gods go to rest.

"On the day of his departure, the king chose Samaritan to inherit the throne. After the king left, Samaritan ruled wisely—but his brother was filled with anger. He wanted the throne at any cost.

"He learned of the Red Diamond, an ancient artifact that appears only once in millions of years, when the seven stars of Orion align. It can grant any wish."

Samaritan heard of his brother's plan and went to stop him. On the day of the alignment, both brothers arrived at the place of the wish—each with their armies.

A fierce battle broke out. Samaritan was stronger, wielding an axe carved for him by his father. His brother relied on skill and technique. When the time of the wish arrived, both brothers were still standing.

Suddenly, a bright light filled the sky.

Their father appeared.

Samaritan:

"Father? What are you doing here?"

The King:

"Have you learned nothing from all I taught you?"

The younger brother fell to his knees.

"I'm sorry, Father."

The king sighed.

"You both come with me. Your mother is waiting."

The brothers finally understood. Power was nothing compared to family. They left together, and from that day on, there was no ruler among the Gods. Samaritan's family was never heard from again.

Zambia:

"So… what are you saying?"

Zumba:

"He's saying Devil is waiting for the stars to align."

Zambia:

"And then?"

Diana:

"He'll make a wish. Obviously."

Zambia:

"What kind of wish?"

Lily:

"This is getting frustrating."

Zandra:

"Enough talk. How do we stop him?"

God of Life:

"If we reach the wish location before him, we may stand a chance. But finding it will not be easy."

Host:

During their search, the teenagers encountered Devil himself. A short but brutal battle followed. Devil quickly realized how powerful Zumba was. Using a dark technique, he absorbed Zumba's power—and took Ayo with him.

They returned to the realm of the Gods with devastating news. There was no way to restore Zumba's power.

Zumba had lost both his strength and his closest companion.

On the day of the wish, Zumba was ordered to stay behind while the others went to stop Devil. A terrible war followed.

The battle was intense, but Devil's power—combined with Zumba's stolen strength—was overwhelming.

Then suddenly…

Zumba arrived.

Diana:

"He never listens."

Zambia:

"Great. The powerless hero is here. I feel so safe."

Devil:

"You still came? After I took your power? You are nothing but a mortal now. I will end your life here."

Host:

Devil transformed, growing ten times larger. Ayo grew with him.

Zumba stretched out his hand, trying to call Ayo—but nothing happened.

Devil:

"Calling your sword? It won't answer you anymore. Power commands it, not loyalty. And since you love it so much, I'll use it to kill you."

Devil slammed Zumba to the ground and raised Ayo above his chest.

Zumba caught the blade with both hands, stopping it just inches from his heart. Dark energy flowed into the sword, hurting Ayo.

Zumba:

"You can take my power… but you will never hurt Ayo."

Suddenly, electricity sparked from Zumba's body.

Devil:

"That's impossible… How are you getting your power back?"

Zumba's blue hair returned. Lightning filled the sky. Energy surged through him as Ayo flew back into his hand.

Devil tried to fight—but it was useless.

Zumba:

"If I die today… I'll gladly take you with me."

Devil spoke ancient words, activating the Red Diamond. But before anything could happen, Life and Death struck him at once.

Devil shattered.

But then… people began to fade. Life. Death. Half of existence.

Zandra:

"That was his wish… to erase existence itself."

Zambia:

"So this is how it ends?"

Timer:

"I can reverse time—three minutes only. Use it well."

Time reversed.

Zumba flew into the sky and struck the Red Diamond with all his strength. It shattered, causing a massive explosion.

Zumba was caught in the blast.

Lily:

"Zumba! Open your eyes!"

God of Life:

"He's gone… but I sent him to Dragon Tail."

Zandra:

"What's that?"

God of Life:

"A realm where fallen mortals are tested. Only those who overcome it can return."
