A Naruto with such terrifying power had actually become its friend.

Just from watching the video, most of the Nine-Tails' resentment melted away. It had always been kind-hearted, hiding deep in the mountains to avoid hurting humans.
Yet even in those remote forests, Uchiha Madara had tracked it down.
After Madara died, Senju Hashirama captured it next and sealed it inside his wife.
When she died, the ordeal wasn't over—it was sealed into Kushina.
Trapped endlessly in an inner world, able to see only through its Jinchuriki's eyes, the Nine-Tails' heart stayed filled with hatred.
Now, seeing Naruto in the video—understanding and granting it freedom—
the moment fist met claw touched its softest place.
Perhaps this Naruto truly is special; there's no need to make things harder for him.

The instant it landed, both sprang up and charged.

Then a translucent, glowing hand appeared, helping him spin a small Rasengan.
More and more hands gathered, as if offering strength; the tiny sphere grew larger and larger.
This was Naruto's power, forged by countless bonds that let him stand here against Sasuke.
Whummm—!!
With that strange hum Naruto looked up at Sasuke.
Chidori shrieked on; Sasuke glared through his Three-Tomoe Sharingan.
"Aaaaaaaah!!!"
Naruto roared. Phantoms of himself from different times flared behind him as he raised the spiraling sphere.
"Uraaaaaah!!!"
Sasuke answered, thrusting his Chidori forward.
Boom—!!
Lightning and black flame met the Rasengan in a blinding clash.
Neither gave; brilliant light swallowed them both.
Rumble—!!
A fearsome explosion erupted, shredding the statues of Hashirama and Madara and devastating half the Valley of the End.
The flash engulfed them; their yells were silent on the screen.
White light blotted out everything.
Click.
The picture went black.

Hiruzen Sarutobi's pipe clattered to the floor. "I waited all this time, watched their whole fight, and you just cut it off?!"
Just like Might Guy vs. Six Paths Madara—right at the crucial moment?!
Did Sasuke survive? Naruto? Both of them?
