On the ground the Rose Witch thrashed in panic, but the ribbons held her fast.

Mami leveled the musket, aimed, and a devastating shot roared forth.

The blast swallowed the Rose Witch.
Within the flames her huge form swiftly vanished.
Mami dropped from the sky; the instant she landed, countless butterflies filled the screen.
She produced a cup of coffee from nowhere, sipped, glanced upward and smiled tenderly.
At that moment Mami looked utterly graceful.
A heartbeat ago she'd faced death; now she'd vanquished her foe and could still gift her juniors such a warm smile.
The scene won legions of fans instantly.
That's how it should be! That reversal felt perfect!! They'd feared Mami was finished.

No immediate danger," came Kyubey's gentle voice. No sign of imminent hatching."
Madoka pressed: Sayaka, are you all right?"
Fine, fine—bored to tears here," Sayaka Miki answered lightly.
The two girls relaxed; clearly Sayaka had been drawn into that eerie, dark-fairytale world before they arrived.
