Eve jolted awake at 3 AM, her body drenched in sweat that had nothing to do with the temperature, She found herself on the bed not the couch she had being sleeping on before the dream. Somehow one of the brothers had carried her back to bed. Her heart hammered against her ribs as fragmented images flickered through her mind.....Silas's dark eyes, his hands pinning her wrists, the taste of his skin, the feeling of....
What the hell was that?
She pressed trembling fingers to her temples, trying to piece together what had just happened. It wasn't a normal dream. It had felt too real, too vivid.
She could still feel the phantom sensation of sheets twisted around her legs, could still smell the scent that was uniquely Silas.....cedar and night air and something darker she couldn't name.
But that wasn't the disturbing part.
The disturbing part was that in the dream, she hadn't been in her own body.
She'd been... experiencing it from his perspective. Feeling what he felt.
