"Ayleen,listen to mommy okay?.You have to go without mommy and daddy,this time.Be a brave little girl okay!",a middle aged lady said to her daughter in the mist of the chaos.
The girl nodded her head and turned on her heels running."Run!,run! and always remember mommy will always protect you wherever you are", the lady pushed on.Before promptly getting attacked by a serious vampire.Who by the the looks of it seems more of a beast than a creature of reason.
A Vamp'ir ,it bites her neck sucking the life out of her.Then,kicks her like a rugdoll.With her last spark of life, she looks at him.The man who used to be husband,now mindless creature with nothing but blood thirst.She smiles glad to have been able to protect her daughter from this apocalypse , before taking last breath.
Running through the woods, little Ayleen encounters a Vamp'ir. It jumps on her, biting her arm. She kicks it off her, with all her strength.And she starts running with her now bleeding left arm.The creature gets up chasing her with furious speed.She trips on a rock and falls down.With tears in her eyes, as she hears the sound of the creature near .
It growls and screehes walking towards its prey.
Ayleen closes her eyes,and starts to count,"1,2,3,4,5.l...10" with trembling fear gripping her in place.As the Vamp'ir approaches, suddenly she hears a stab!. Almost as if a knife was thrown at at the creature.The creature let's out a loud growl!,falling on little Ayleen.Prompting her to scream!, pushing the dead heavy body of the creature off her.
"If you want to survive come with me.Only the strong have a choice in life.This world does not favour the weak,"and with those words he stretched out his hands towards her.Giving her a choice to accept his help or not.A choice to keep moving forward or to give up and die.
She takes his hands accepting to follow him . The man removes the hood of his cloak , revealing a middle aged man in his 30s. One of his eyes bright red .The girl looked at him in astonishment as he rips a part of his cloak and ties it on her injured arm.
"Alright now, can you walk?" ,he asks. She nods her head unable to speak, out of shock. They hiked through the woods undetected. With him making quick work of any does they encounter. They reach a cottage which seems to be his house. As soon as he lets her in, he begins to properly treat her now opened wound.
"Ouch!",she lets out a cry as he dresses her now opened wound."Don't worry it will only be for a moment. And my name is Dimitri but you can called me pops or whatever you want.",the man said to little Ayleen.
"P-o-ps!, are-you-my-new-daddy?", Ayleen slowly managed to blurt out."No!, little one,you for a while",he replied her.
"Me!?, Ayleen said with puzzled expression. "Yes, you,your blood is special little one.And now my job shall be complete once I had over 'Atronas' .Do you know why your blood is special ?". He said,patting Ayleen on the head.She shakes her head.
"You survived an attack from a Vamp'ir ,and lets not forget you got bitten by it. But you're here alive and breathing with its vernom flowing through you .Any regular human would have died,"Dimitri revealed to her.
"Die-d!?", Ayleen mouthed still confused."Yes,my dear 'died!'. Don't worry you'll understand what I'm saying once you grow up, Dimitri replied. Looking out in the window, scouting the area for danger. He then turns to look at little Ayleen who was scribbling on a paper. She raises her head meeting his eyes .
"What are you doing little one?,he asks .she raises the paper to him. Showing a kid like drawing of her mom,dad,and her . With him in the middle. And they all looked happy. Ayleen smiles, beaming proudly over her childish piece of art. Dimitri smiles saying"Oh!, I see. So I'm now a member of your family ehh!"."Yes!, you're my pop-sie", little Ayleen replies him. He looks at her for a sec ,then shakes his head."Alright little one it's time to get some rest. We will be leaving tomorrow, here is not safe. So get some rest",he instructed. With a pouty face,she goes and lie down on the sofa. And eventually falls asleep.
