Fourth Kazekage Rasa stood atop the central command height, a jagged stone overlook that offered a panoramic view of the target directory: Kikyō Castle. Streams of golden Gold Dust flowed slowly around him in rhythmic, high-density orbits, exuding a magnetic pressure that made the air feel heavy. Though the unease in his heart had already crystallized into a cold, internal warning, the "Execute" command had been given. With the main army massed at the foot of the fortress and morale at its peak, there was no longer a way to abort the process.

He raised his hand slowly, then swung it down with the force of a final verdict.

"Attack the city!"

The order landed like a spark in a fuel line, instantly igniting the Sunagakure host.

"Earth Release: Open Earth Rising Excavation!" "Earth Release: Earth Flow Rampart!"

Dozens, perhaps hundreds of Suna Earth Release specialists formed seals in perfect synchronization. They slammed their palms into the parched earth, sending massive pulses of chakra into the ground. The terrain in front of Kikyō Castle heaved and buckled. Massive ramps of stone and sand erupted from the dirt, bridging the gap to the summit of the city's towering walls, while other teams sought to undermine the foundations of the ramparts themselves.

On the battlements, the Konoha defenders initialized their counter-scripts at once.

"Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation!" "Wind Release: Great Breakthrough!" "Water Release: Water Formation Wall!"

Techniques of every elemental attribute rained down from the walls like a digital storm. Fireballs clashed with earth walls, and vacuum blades shredded incoming projectiles. The brilliant yet lethal glimmer of high-output Ninjutsu turned the dusk as bright as a server room at noon.

"Puppet Squad - Advance! Initialize Swarm Protocol!" Elder Chiyo's calm voice carried across the front lines through a chakra-enhanced amplifier.

Sayo drew a sharp, mechanical breath. He forced down the ever-stronger sense of "System Dread" and barked orders to his unit. "Third Company, Defensive formation! Deploy shield-buffers! Spider puppets, forward to harass! Strike puppets, target the firing nodes on the wall!"

The puppeteers under his command moved with low latency. The huge Salamander puppets, heavy alloy shields mounted on their backs, charged at the fore to absorb the dense jutsu bombardment. Beneath their cover, hundreds of my smaller Spider drones swarmed up the vertical walls like a virus. They spat poisoned needles and detonated precision exploding tags to sow chaos among the archers. Behind them, specialized combat puppets like Crows and Black Ants sought openings to pick off exposed Konoha defenders.

Sayo himself hovered in the air aboard the Mirage. From his aerial vantage point, he manipulated his iron sand with a precision that bordered on the supernatural. The sand transformed into a giant hammer to smash Konoha's crenellations, then instantly shifted into a magnetic barrier to deflect lethal blows aimed at his company. For a few minutes, the scales of victory seemed to tilt toward the Sand. Suna's numerical advantage and Rasa's overwhelming Gold Dust were slowly grinding down the Leaf's firewall.

Yet, just as the fighting reached its peak intensity, an abrupt change occurred in the background processes.

From the forested hills behind the Suna host came a sound that didn't belong to the desert. It was a hair-raising shriek, followed by a surge of cold, vast, and ominous chakra that felt like a localized system crash.

Rumble!

The earth split open, not through Earth Release, but through the raw force of a Summoning Jutsu. A colossal serpent of unbelievable size erupted from the ground. Merely rearing its head cast a shadow over a massive swath of Suna's rear ranks. Atop the serpent's head stood a man with skin as pale as unwritten code and eyes as cold as a viper's.

"Th-that's… Orochimaru!!" a Suna Jonin screamed, his voice cracking with terror.

One of the Legendary Sannin, the Pale Serpent. He was not alone. From the woods behind him poured a flood of Konoha Clan elites, superbly equipped and moving with a lethal synchronization. Like ghosts, they struck the completely unprepared Sand rear, targeting the supply teams, the medical squads, and the reserve units.

"Kill," Orochimaru's hoarse voice whispered, a command that carried a lethal chill. He disgorged a tide of vipers that surged toward the reeling Suna rear guard, beginning a total system wipe of our logistics.

The collapse spread like toppling dominoes. Panic infected the front lines as word of the rear-strike reached them.

"Hold fast! Rear-flank units—turn and engage!" Rasa's roar rang out as he tried to stabilize the kernel.

But the fatal blow was still loading.

Just as the front line faltered, distracted by the slaughter behind them, a streak of golden light appeared without warning above the densest knot of Suna's assault troops. It didn't fly; it teleported.

A young ninja in a Konoha Jonin vest appeared, his brilliant blond hair catching the dying sunlight. His gaze was as sharp as a high-frequency blade, a special three-pronged kunai clutched in his hand.

His arrival was so sudden, so silent, yet it drew the eyes of every fighter on the field.

"The Yellow… Flash!" Elder Chiyo cried, her voice quavering with disbelief. "Minato Namikaze!"

How could he be here? The intelligence logs had him pinned to the Cloud border. But the "Yellow Flash" didn't give the Sand any time to re-evaluate. His form flickered in mid-air, several after-images appearing simultaneously.

The next instant, a despair-inducing scene unfolded.

The golden light blinked. It jumped between key tactical nodes inside the Suna assault cluster. With every flash, a special kunai appeared; with every kunai, a throat was slit or a heart was pierced. He was moving beyond vision, beyond reflex, beyond the world's refresh rate. Ordinary Suna ninjas never saw him; they saw only a golden gleam, and then their comrades dropped in rows beside them.

"Flying Thunder God Technique!"

The legendary space-time Ninjutsu was displaying its true, battlefield-dominating lethality. The fierce Suna assault, which had been moments away from breaching the castle, was being carved apart by a single man.

The Yellow Flash reaped lives in the front; Orochimaru led the elite in a rear strike; and on the walls, the Konoha defenders, their morale surging, launched a crushing counter-attack.

In a heartbeat, the Suna host, the hunters who had been in full cry, became cornered prey.

Sayo, steering the Mirage through a frantic evasive bank, barely dodged a kunai etched with a Flying Thunder God seal. He looked down at the collapsing battle line, at the death-god figure of gold flickering through his men, and his face turned paper-white.

The nightmare he had feared most, the "History" he had tried to ignore had become reality in the most violent way possible. Kikyō Castle was not a prize. It was a vast, carefully dug grave for the Hidden Sand.

"The trap has sprung," Sayo whispered, his fingers tightening on the controls until they bled. "System failure is imminent."
