Chapter 31 –The Revelation (1)
The next day Just before seven in the morning—
While the city was still half-asleep,
while alarms hadn't rung and curtains were still drawn—
Two official statements were released at the same time.
One from Migan City College,One from Imperial High.
The internet stirred.Then—It exploded.
Official Joint Statement
(Released by Migan City College & Imperial High)
OFFICIAL NOTICE REGARDING THE RECENT COMPETITION INCIDENT
After a thorough internal investigation conducted jointly by Migan City College and Imperial High, we hereby release the following conclusions:
Student Violet De'ora of Imperial High has been fully cleared of all allegations related to academic misconduct.
Surveillance footage, witness accounts, and verified timelines confirm that Violet De'ora was not present at the teachers' lounge at the time the exam materials were photographed.
The individual seen in the circulated video has been confirmed to be Julia Crescent, who deliberately impersonated Violet De'ora.
The act was premeditated, involving unauthorized access to restricted areas, tampering with surveillance footage, and the deliberate release of misleading material.
Mr. Hales, former head of Migan City College's event committee, has confessed to:
Assisting in the falsification of evidence
Clearing CCTV footage
Leaking the video anonymously
Planting a recording device within school premises
A verified audio recording provided by One of our (imperial high) students further confirms Julia Crescent's intent and involvement.
We sincerely apologize to Violet De'ora, her family, and Imperial High for the distress caused.
Disciplinary actions and legal procedures are currently underway.
We urge the public to refrain from harassment, speculation, and misinformation.
Truth has been established.

For a moment—
The internet went quiet.
Then disbelief hit.
Online Reaction
"What…?"
"No way."
"She was innocent…?"
"Wait—JULIA Crescent?"
"Isn't it that popular kid star?".
"Her again?".
"How could a thirteen-year-old go this far?"
"She planned ALL of this??"
Posts refreshed faster than fingers could scroll.Shock spread like wildfire.
Screens filled with disbelief, anger, confusion by neitezens.
Meanwhile among Clara's Fans
Fans who weren't part of the inner circle—
who had believed every wrong video about violet, who had claimed their idol could never—
Felt their hearts drop.
Some deleted fan pages immediately.
Others went silent, unable to reconcile the girl they admired with the truth laid bare before them.
"She , Julia was the culprit…"
"I defended her…"
"I can't support this."
Yet—
Others refused to believe it.
"They're framing her."
"This has to be fake."
"She wouldn't do something like that."
With some absurd fans saying.
"I'm sure violet paid both the principals, or her father offered them something".
"They are rich, they're just shifting the blame on our innocent Julia".
"Anything is possible."
The fandom split cleanly down the middle.
.
.
.
.
Inside the Inner Circle
Panic.
Private group chats flooded with frantic messages.
"What do we do now?"
"They released everything…"
"Is she going to be arrested?"
"Our idol—what will happen to her?"
Fear replaced confidence.
For the first time, they weren't cheering.
They were worried.
Meanwhile…
While the world burned with arguments, revelations, and truth—
Two girls slept.
In a quiet dorm room at Migan City College,
Violet slept curled on her side, her face calm for the first time in days.
At a luxury hotel across the city,
Clara slept too—unaware that the storm she created had finally turned on her.
The truth had already arrived.
Both didn't know it yet.

By 8:30 in the morning, Violet finally woke up.
For a moment, she just lay there, staring at the unfamiliar ceiling, her mind blank.
Then everything came rushing back.
Today is the day everything will finally be revealed.
The waiting will be over.
The silent fear won't be there no more.
Her name will finally be cleared.
She sat up slowly.
After freshening up, Violet took a warm bath, letting the tension she'd been carrying for days slowly melt away. When she stepped out, she changed into something simple and comfortable—clothes Miss Irena had thoughtfully picked up from her dorm the day before.
That small act alone made her chest tighten with gratitude.
Once dressed, Violet finally reached for her phone.
The screen lit up.
And she froze.
10 Missed calls: 3 from Mom and Dad, 2 from Andrea, 1 from Miss Irena, 2 from Emery, 1 from April, and 1 from Victoria.
Her fingers trembled slightly as she unlocked the screen.
Then a WhatsApp message popped up—from Victoria.
Victoria: Violet!!! You're cleared!!, You're finally cleared!!
Go check online—oh my God, congratulations!!! 😭🎉
Violet's breath caught.
Vira couldn't help but ask: Host , what does your friend mean, Is the statement released.
"I don't know, let me check" replied Violet as she immediately opened her browser.
And there it was, The official statement from both schools.
Clear. Firm. Undeniable.
Her name is cleared.
Her innocence is proven.
The truth is finally out.
Inside her mind, Vira spun happily, practically glowing.
Congratulations, host!
Violet smiled softly, her vision blurring.
"Thank you, Vira," she whispered.
.
.
.
.
.
After a few moments of looking at the official statement to her satisfaction, she soon went to her contact and dialed her moms number
It barely rang once.
"Violet!" Lily's voice burst through the phone, already shaking.
"Mom…" Violet breathed.
"Oh my baby," Lily said, crying openly now. "Do you know how worried we were?"
Kingsley's voice cut in immediately.
"You see? I told you our daughter is innocent, I told you our daughter is strong," he said, though his voice was thick. "Still—next time, at least warn us before you cause a nationwide panic."
Violet laughed softly through her tears.
"I'm sorry, Dad."
"But," Kingsley added, clearing his throat, "welcome back, innocent citizen."
That made Lily laugh through her tears.
Violet felt something warm settle in her chest.
"I'm okay now," she said gently. "It's finally over."
"Not over," Lily corrected softly. "Just beginning again."
"Mmm, I love you mom,I love you dad", she whispered
"We love you too". They replied before ending the call
.
.
.
The second call was to Andrea
She hesitated.
Vira getting tired of her cowardness couldn't help but tease: host be brave, you've to do this sooner or later, you have to say thank you after all.
"I will, just give me a few seconds". answered Violet not denying her cowardness.
A few seconds soon turned into a few minutes.
Violet was finally able to build up her bravery, then she pressed the dialing image next to his name.
A few rings later Andrea picked up.
"Good morning, wife," His voice came through, calm and warm."Congratulations to finally being cleared".
Her lips curved despite herself.
"You already know," she said.
"I do," he replied. "So I wanted to congratulate you personally and hear your voice."
She smiled.
"It's over."she whispered.
"Yes," Andrea said softly. "And you did well."
There was a pause.
Then he added, quieter, "I'm proud of you."
Her heart skipped.
"…Thank you," she murmured.
"Rest well today," he said. "I'll see you soon."
"Mm," she replied, flustered. "Don't say things like that so casually."
His low chuckle came through the phone.
"I'll say more next time."
She hung up quickly, her face warm.
Inside her head, Vira sighed dramatically shaking her head over the awkward phone call.
"You guys are Hopeless. Both of you".
.
.
.
The third call is to Miss Irena
"Miss Irena," Violet said as soon as the call connected.
"I saw the statement," Miss Irena replied warmly. "Congratulations, Violet."
"Thank you, ma'am," Violet said sincerely. "No—thank you. For believing me. For everything."
Miss Irena smiled on the other end.
"It's fine, just know that you aren't walking this path alone,You have us. I will be there for you when you need me as your homeroom teacher" she said gently. "But remember—you being strong and not giving up matters too."
Violet nodded, even though she couldn't see her.
"I won't forget that."
"Bye",said miss irena feeling proud of her student.
"Bye ma'am". replied Violet.
.
.
.
The final call was a call to Victoria, Emery and April
Violet added them all into one group call.
The moment it connected—
"AHHHH—!!!"
"CONGRATULATIONS--!!!"
"I TOLD YOU WORLD—!!!"
"SHE'S INNOCENT—!!!"
"VIOLET DE'ORA SUPREMACY—!!!"
Violet winced, laughing.
"Guys—guys—my ears!"
"We won!" Emery yelled.
"No," Victoria corrected dramatically. "Justice won."
April sniffed loudly. "I cried. Like—ugly cried."
"You always ugly cry," Emery replied.
"SHUT UP."
Violet laughed so hard she had to hold her phone away.
"Thank you," she said softly when things finally calmed down.
"All of you."
There was a brief silence.
Then Emery spoke.
"We've got you. Always."
Her chest felt full.
The group talked some more, with no thoughts of stopping soon.

And while Violet was surrounded by voices, warmth, and relief—
Somewhere else—,In a quiet hotel room—,Clara slowly opened her eyes.
Unaware.
That the world she built on lies had already begun to collapse.
Around ten in the morning, Clara finally woke up.
She stretched lazily.
As usual, she went through her morning routine.
First, she took a long bath.
Then she ate.
Although she noticed something strange—the hotel staff who delivered her food avoided her eyes, their gazes lingering just a second too long. Whispering. Judging.
She frowned but brushed it off.
They probably recognized her, she thought smugly.
Good, she's pretty popular anyway.
Finally, she reached for her phone.
It was time.
Time to enjoy Violet De'ora's downfall.
Expecting the usual, with a faint smile, Clara opened her social media.
The smile froze.
Her name, Everywhere.
Not Violet's .
Hers.
Clara's fingers trembled as she scrolled.
Post after post. Accusations. Screenshots. Headlines. Confessions.
She blinked.
Once.
Twice.
"No… no, this isn't possible," she whispered.
Her breath grew shallow.
She quickly exited the app and went straight to Migan City College's official website.
Her hands shook as the page loaded.
There it was.
The statement. Mr. Hales' confession.
Her name—clear, unmistakable.
Her involvement. Her manipulation. Her lies.
Her vision blurred.
"No…" she breathed.
Heart pounding violently, she switched tabs and rushed to Imperial High's website.
The same statement. Word for word.
Signed. Confirmed.
Final.
The phone slipped from her fingers and hit the floor with a dull sound.
Clara stood frozen for a moment— Then slowly sank onto the bed.
Her chest felt tight, Her throat burned, Her ears rang.
It's over, she thought.
