Chapter 139 - Chapter 139 True Strength

Upon hearing Gu Xun'er's words, Hun Changqing felt as if he had swallowed a fly, his face turning extremely ugly. He was always the one who didn't reason with others, but now it was Gu Xun'er, the one who had once been like a lamb in his eyes, who was refusing to reason with him. He felt incredibly frustrated.

"There are still some traces of her aura here. She's still here, isn't she? Since you won't tell me where she is, I'll find her myself!"

Seeing Hun Changqing's expression, Gu Xun'er knew he wouldn't let the woman show herself. A cold glint flashed in her eyes, and she said to Gu Ming beside her,

"Elder Gu Ming, suppress him, but don't hurt him."

Gu Ming, listening from the side, was very puzzled. Since he had followed Gu Xun'er, he had never seen her show mercy to anyone, let alone a man. Moreover, the name of the man Gu Xun'er had mentioned earlier filled him with unease: Hun Changqing? Hun?

Gu Ming forcibly suppressed his surprise and doubt, nodded to Gu Xun'er, and dared not be negligent. His vast, ocean-like aura surged forth, spreading out like towering waves, enveloping and suppressing Hun Changqing. Hun

Changqing and Medusa within his sleeves felt as if a mountain had suddenly pressed down on them. The terrifying pressure caused their bodies to tremble violently, rendering them immobile, their breathing becoming extremely rapid.

Hai Bodong, standing nearby, had been pressed into the ground the instant this terrifying pressure appeared, unable to move, like a dead dog.

Seeing this, Gu Xun'er revealed a cruel smile, her eyes flashing with bloodlust. She slowly lifted her lotus-like steps and walked towards the exquisite pavilion, passing by Hun Changqing, who was being fiercely suppressed by Gu Ming's aura.

Gu Xun'er paused, causing Hun Changqing to glance at her slightly. Seeing him turn to look at her, a meaningful smile appeared on her face, a radiant smile. She then gave Hun Changqing a somewhat bewildered look before continuing towards the pavilion.

Gu Xun'er slowly walked to the seal outside the pavilion, dazzling golden light flashing and surging in her beautiful eyes. Golden flames rose from her clenched fist, swirling around it.   Enveloped

in the dazzling golden light, she raised her delicate fist and slammed it fiercely into the seal before the pavilion.   A deafening roar resounded from the seal, followed by a series of cracking sounds.   As Gu Xun'er's full-force punch landed, tiny cracks appeared on the seal. The broken areas bore the charred marks of the intense heat from Gu Xun'er's fist, emitting a foul, burnt smell. This seal was originally   set up by Hun Changqing to isolate the area from any movement within; its defensive capabilities were not particularly strong.   He had never imagined anyone in the Black Corner Region would dare attack his residence, so he hadn't bothered with a particularly powerful defensive formation.   Seeing her punch had worked, Gu Xun'er's eyes blazed with even more savagery. A sinister smile spread across her face, and she raised her hands, enveloped in golden flames, and plunged them fiercely into the cracks created by her punch. Then, she tore her hands apart with a brutal rip.   In an instant, the entire seal was torn into pieces of energy fragments by Gu Xun'er's terrifying strength, scattered throughout the courtyard. Under the radiant glow of the red sun in the sky and the dazzling golden light emanating from Gu Xun'er, the fragments reflected a brilliant and beautiful light, making the scene in the courtyard somewhat enchanting.

Then, with a bloodthirsty smile on her lips, Gu Xun'er moved gracefully through the dazzling rain of light reflected from the energy fragments, arriving at the pavilion. She gently pushed open the light door and stepped inside.

Hun Changqing, however, was no longer concerned with Gu Xun'er's madness. He was constantly under immense, overwhelming pressure, unleashing the ferocity within him.

Hun Changqing abruptly raised his head, his eyes flashing with brilliant silver light. A terrifying killing intent, even one that would terrify Gu Ming, surged from his body.

The killing intent, the malevolent energy, and the deathly aura mingled together, turning the once clear sky into a gloomy, oppressive atmosphere, as if a cataclysmic apocalypse was imminent.

Black energy and silver light rose and swirled around him, making him appear like a terrifying, unparalleled demon.

Even Gu Xun'er, who had just entered the attic, felt a surge of frantic fear. Her pupils contracted sharply. The terrifying aura Hun Changqing was now emanating far surpassed that of their previous encounter.

She had thought that Hun Changqing's previous display of strength was his full power, but it turned out he had been holding back, unwilling to fight her, which allowed her to catch him off guard and launch a successful sneak attack.

Gu Xun'er clenched her fists tightly, her exquisitely beautiful face contorting in pain before hardening with determination and unwavering resolve.

"So last time wasn't all you had... I will catch up... I will! Then... For now, I should find that damned woman first!"

Gu Xun'er made a silent vow, forcing herself to stop thinking about the difference in their strength and focusing her attention on a certain woman once more, her hatred intensifying.

Outside the pavilion, a terrifying aura surged from Hun Changqing's body, instantly breaking through Gu Ming's oppressive aura. Hun Changqing stood proudly upright, his extremely evil aura spreading throughout the world. Incomparably sinister Yin energy howled wildly in this area, like the wails of ghosts, sending chills down one's spine.

"Hehehe... It's been a long time since I've been pushed to this point. My bones have been rusting lately. Now, finally, someone has made me go all out. I should thank you, Dou Zun of the Ancient Clan!" Hun Changqing's

laughter was extremely sinister, sending shivers down one's spine. The eerie laughter, combined with the howling Yin energy that resembled the wails of ghosts, made Hun Changqing seem like a demon crawling out of hell.

Upon hearing Hun Changqing reveal his identity, Gu Ming was once again deeply shocked. He hadn't expected this person to even know his origins. Considering his earlier guesses about the man's surname and the distinctively sinister and evil aura emanating from him, the man's identity was now crystal clear! The Soul Clan!
