Chapter 182 -  Chapter 182 Ghosts…Ghosts. Ghosts!

After figuring out the whole story, Hun Changqing was now preoccupied with the matter of the main soul and had no patience to waste any more words with Xingxiu.

Hun Changqing reached out and grabbed Xingxiu, who was still tightly clutching his robes, forcibly separating her from him.

Hun Changqing looked at Xingxiu's face, which was full of resentment, and glanced at her delicate, fair face, which was covered with tear stains from her still-wet tears. Then he looked at the traces of Xingxiu's tears still remaining on his robes, and a hint of disgust flashed in Hun Changqing's eyes.

Hun Changqing was somewhat of a germaphobe. Now that his clothes were soiled by Xingxiu, even though she was beautiful and the stains were only from her tears, he still felt extremely uncomfortable, as if ants were crawling on his body.

With a wave of his hand, Hun Changqing tossed Xing Su out of the wooden door, right before Xing Su's horrified eyes. Then, Taiyin True Qi emanated, and a new barrier reappeared on the door.

After throwing Xing Su out of the secret chamber, Hun Changqing felt the chamber become even quieter, which improved his mood considerably.

He quickly changed out of the black robe stained with Xing Su's tears and took out a brand new one from his storage ring. He had plenty of these standard black robes from the Soul Palace in stock, so he wouldn't need to be frugal. Wearing the new robe, Hun Changqing unleashed a burst of Taiyin True Qi, shattering the stained robe into dust.

After composing himself, Hun Changqing took out the main soul. Looking at the illusory main soul in his hand, its face still bearing a trace of pain, a fierce glint flashed in Hun Changqing's eyes.

"You wretched creature, I'm coming to deal with you!"

Hun Changqing said fiercely, then grabbed the main soul, stepped into the void, and slowly walked towards the spot where he had been sitting cross-legged. He calmed his mind and began to process the main soul in his hand.

Then, a shrill, agonizing wail echoed from the dark, silent chamber. This piercing wail was incredibly miserable, making it unimaginable what kind of suffering the person or thing that uttered it was enduring.

Xingxiu, who had been thrown outside the chamber, stared blankly at the tightly closed, dark wooden door, lost in thought.

Before entering the chamber, she had considered countless possible reactions from Hun Changqing upon seeing her; he might mock her, or he might be overcome with lust.

However, Xing Su hadn't expected Hun Changqing to throw her out so directly. Recalling the slight disdain in Hun Changqing's eyes before he tossed her out, Xing Su felt utterly devastated, as if her very faith had crumbled.

At that moment, Xing Su felt the last vestige of pride within her, shattered by her shameless search for Hun Changqing, only to be mercilessly thrown out of the secret chamber. It was as if Hun Changqing had trampled and crushed it underfoot.

The strange emotions that had just arisen in Xing Su's heart because of Hun Changqing's gentleness, and the boundless desires that had grown over the past few days, were instantly overshadowed by the indescribable resentment and murderous intent that arose from the disdain in Hun Changqing's eyes and his actions.

If Hun Changqing were to see the scene outside the secret chamber at this moment, he would be utterly astonished, for the resentment rising from Xingxiu's body was several times greater than the resentment generated by the souls he had tormented!

  "A ghost."

  "A ghost."

"A ghost!"    Xing Su's face was contorted with rage, making her beautiful features appear somewhat eerie. Her voice trembled violently as she unleashed three terrifying roars, seemingly inhuman.

Each roar carried a different meaning, but all were filled with boundless rage, resentment, and overwhelming killing intent. The roars

echoed from the lowest level throughout the entire villa, causing it to tremble violently. The roars resounded to the heavens, but unfortunately, they couldn't reach the tightly closed secret room.

At this moment, Xing Su's cultivation, which had been firmly sealed by Hun Changqing, began to loosen slightly. Wisps of black energy mixed with starlight seeped from her delicate body, and her once beautiful and radiant eyes, like stars, were now shrouded in a dark light.

At this moment, terrifying black mist surged wildly around Xingxiu, spreading directly from the ground and completely enveloping the entire villa in a thick black fog.

The sky-filling black mist, like demonic flames from hell, coupled with the inhuman, earth-shattering roar, made Xingxiu appear like a world-destroying demon from the deepest depths of the netherworld, so ferocious and terrifying. Hun

Changqing, who was in the secret chamber, although he didn't hear Xingxiu's roar outside the wooden door due to the array,

did feel a subtle sensation rising within him. This inexplicable feeling stirred a ripple in Hun Changqing's heart as he calmly worked on his main soul, causing his brow to furrow slightly. However, he quickly calmed himself and focused his mind on the main soul…

Several more days passed in a flash.

The dense black mist and countless swarms of Yin Demons that had previously filled the secret chamber had completely vanished. Now, the

empty chamber contained only Hun Changqing, sitting cross-legged in the void, his main soul radiating a dazzling silver light, and the imposing Yin Soul Banner beside it.

Hun Changqing looked at his obedient main soul, a satisfied expression on his face, and nodded. After several days of training, his main soul was now completely under his control, and the previous blunders would no longer occur. Hun Changqing was

very pleased with his main soul and the Yin Soul Banner. Now that the Yin Soul Banner's forging was complete, the next step was to head to the cave of the Dry Wood Saint!

Thinking of this, a burning greedy light appeared in Hun Changqing's eyes, and he licked his lips with his crimson tongue.

  "Hehehe..."

After letting out a sinister and eerie laugh, Hun Changqing retrieved his main soul into the Yin Soul Banner, then placed the banner into his own essence. He then slowly left the secret room, walking briskly upstairs with a light and cheerful mood.

However, when Hun Changqing passed through the villa's upstairs hall and saw the various strangely arranged ornaments, his brow furrowed slightly.

How could this Xing Su tamper with other people's things without their master's permission? So unethical!
