This was Senexios's status panel. It looked pretty rudimentary at first glance, but clicking into the sub-sections revealed quite a bit of detail.
After getting a rough sense of the overall panel,
Yi Zhen now understood how to use the Universal Experience and Gold Coins in his possession.
Universal Experience could be applied to boost attributes, and when combined with certain special materials, it could also raise skill levels. Those letter grades represented the upper limits for that individual, much like in the work *Dungeon Encounter*. Everyone's aptitude could only reach that ceiling, with almost no chance of going beyond it, because the container itself had reached its max capacity.
Gold Coins, on the other hand, could be used alongside special achievements and specific materials to raise her current upper limit, allowing further breakthroughs. Some attributes would solidify as her foundation, giving her another shot at climbing higher.
As for Traits and Specialties,
Yi Zhen scanned them quickly and spotted the classic auto-chess mechanics under Traits: Bonds.
Destiny Paths, Factions, Races, and Traits all offered Bond bonuses.
After formally registering Senexios into his system, it was basically the same as with those familiars from *Dungeon Mistake*. From now on, Yi Zhen could use Gold Coins and Universal Experience to cultivate and strengthen her, and later equip her with Special Relics, Light Cones, and Curios.
Kids, good news:
This system feels awfully familiar.
Bad news:
It's *too* familiar.
Why the hell do I have to grind this classic gacha nurture loop even after transmigrating?

"Once we help Tirixipios inherit the Fire Seed and take the city, we'll get resources to boost your strength."

Senexios listened to Yi Zhen's explanation without much reaction. She was still in her growth phase anyway and hadn't hit any bottlenecks yet.
But the ability to gain strength without training...
That was undeniably useful.
"There's also techniques. With things like others' experience logs, we can fast-track your skill-ups too."

Senexios's eyes lit up. She'd basically maxed herself out in isolation, but she was a total battle maniac at heart. Her current spear techniques were all self-taught wild-style stuff, summed up from fights with beasts and phantom beasts in the wilds.
If she could study the experiences of other spear masters, her skills could keep improving.
"So, we don't just need to take Janusapolis. We need more bases like this for more resources to better nurture our own people."
Most future demigods would make excellent fighters, but they were held back by Omphalos's underlying rules, stuck as cheerleaders off-stage.
But if Yi Zhen could crank up their power levels, they wouldn't have to wait for Sis Xilian to risk her life feeding that AI, raising a Demoge to save the world.
Who even knew if that Memory Star God AI could be fed successfully?
One wrong move, and Iron Tomb crowns itself instead. One big ult from it, and it'd be game over against the Xianzhou Luofu and the Company folks.
And there were other possibilities too. What if this wasn't the Omphalos route, but an IF line?
If the mysterious woman didn't lure the Astral Express crew over, and Iron Tomb fully devours Kauslana to self-coronate, then unless the Pointy Hat Lady rips her own brain out and slaps it on Iron Tomb's neck, it'd be GG for everyone.
So yeah,
Relying on others to clear the Omphalos dungeon? That's basically gambling with your life.
Since it's a gamble, why not hold the odds in your own hands?
Plus, if Iron Tomb's neck can fit Erudition Lord, or Pointy Hat Lady, or Kauslana, why not one of our own that I've raised?
Hell, even Demoge's main body wouldn't be out of the question.

With that, Yi Zhen didn't hesitate and selected the special plot scene. A illusory door unfolded before the three of them. Yi Zhen pushed it open and stepped inside. Senexios and Tirixipios followed without a second thought. They'd sworn to stand with him, so there was no way they'd let him face unknown dangers alone.
And so,
the trio entered the special scene together. What greeted them was a lush, verdant forest. Looking around, they could vaguely make out a city perched atop the mountains.
That was Janusapolis.
Visually, it was at least seven or eight hundred meters lower.
"Special scene..."
"So, what's the scene mission?"
Thinking this, he opened the log, and a mission prompt appeared before his eyes.

Yi Zhen's eyes lit up the moment he saw it. Wasn't this Tirixipios's beloved mom? And unlike her daughter, she didn't seem like a pure canary either.
If they could save her and bring her back to Janusapolis, Yi Zhen could turn into a hands-off boss and speedrun the other maps, right?

The words barely left his mouth when the humanoid mecha girl shot out like a gale, crossing over a hundred meters in the blink of an eye. She leaped like a war god, catching the falling shadow mid-air, then adjusted her posture for the softest landing possible, touching down on a clearing.
"That person... could it be..."
Tirixipios trembled all over, recalling the vibrant red hair that had flashed in Senexios's arms in that instant. It was the exact same shade as hers...
