"Shadows? A little interesting." Seeing his feet bound, Kael still wore a calm smile, as if he wasn't worried at all.
"Good job, Kage! Watch this!!" The black ribbons wrapped around Rayule's hands snapped outward, shooting forward and winding around Kael's arms.
"Haha! You bastard! Your hands and feet are tied! Now you can't move!!"
"Kill him!!!"
"Die—!!"
Seeing Kael immobilized, the others all got excited. They swarmed in, surrounding him, weapons raised as they rushed forward.
"Go to hell!!!"
If they could just kill this 'Tyrant', they would become famous across Ishgar. Everyone was blinded by the thought.
The corner of Kael's mouth curled up. "Can't move?"
Kael grabbed the black ribbon and yanked it hard.
Rayule felt an irresistible force seize him—and his body flew uncontrollably toward Kael.
Kael swung Rayule around, using him like a nine-section whip.
"Uwaaaah!!" Rayule's vision spun.
Bang! Bang! Bang!!
"Waaaaah!"
"Uwaaaah!"...
Rayule's body slammed into the people rushing forward, sending them all flying with screams.
Kael strode toward Kageyama. The shadow arms binding Kael's legs tore apart as if they were made of tofu.
"How is this possible?! My magic..." Kageyama couldn't believe it. His magic was completely unable to restrain him. Seeing Kael walk toward him, he quickly activated another spell.
"Eight Shadows!!"
Kageyama pressed his hands to the ground, and the shadows surged and solidified—forming eight giant shadow snakes that lunged at Kael.
Kael stood still.
The eight shadow snakes bit down on his body and quickly coiled around him, trying to crush him to death.
Boom—!!
The shadow snakes wrapped around Kael's body all exploded. Kael appeared in front of Kageyama, completely unharmed.
"What?!! He destroyed all of them?!" Kageyama couldn't believe it. His strongest magic had no effect on him at all.
Whoosh!
Kael vanished and reappeared in front of Kageyama in the next instant.
Before Kageyama could react, a sharp pain drove into his stomach. His eyes rolled back, and he lost consciousness.
"Kage, too..." The remaining Eisenwald members trembled in fear.
Kael glanced at them, already bored.
He lifted his right foot slightly—then stomped down hard.
Boom—!!!
The entire ground exploded and trembled violently.
"Waaaaah!!" ...
The Eisenwald members struggled to stay standing. Debris burst up and spun through the air.
Kael's arms moved so fast they left countless afterimages. His fingers tapped the airborne debris with quick, precise flicks.
Shu! Shu! Shu! Shu!
All the pieces of debris shot toward the Eisenwald members like bullets.
Thud! Thud! Thud!!
"Uwaaaah!!"
"Waaaaah!!" ...
The debris punched through their bodies. Screams rang out as everyone collapsed into pools of blood.
"Uwaaaah!!!" Karacka—who had known Kael was the legendary 'Tyrant'—hadn't dared to charge forward even when Kael was bound. It turned out his instincts were right. How could the 'Tyrant', who had supposedly fought ten thousand men alone, be captured so easily?
In the blink of an eye, almost all of Eisenwald had been knocked to the ground.
In extreme fear, Karacka immediately turned and fled on all fours. So many people had been defeated. He was a monster, an unbeatable monster.
Kael saw Karacka flee but ignored him. Instead, he walked toward Erigor, his heel lightly kicking the hilt of the sword on the ground.
Shu—!
The sword shot backward.
Thud—!!
"Waaaah!" The long sword embedded itself in Karacka's body. He screamed and fell.
Kael looked up at Erigor, who had been hiding in the air for a while, with a playful look. "And now, only you are left."
Erigor's expression was awful. He had been so close to achieving his goal, but this guy had shown up out of nowhere.
"'Tyrant', don't think that just because you beat them, you can beat me! I, 'Shinigami' Erigor, am completely different from them!!" Erigor yelled fiercely at Kael.
Kael smiled and shook his head. "In my eyes, you're not much different from them. Just a pile of small trash, and one big piece of trash."
"You bastard! How dare you look down on me!!"
He was the famous 'Shinigami' Erigor! When he became famous, this guy was probably nowhere to be found.
Kael waved his hand and said, "Not at all! How could I look down on you? I'm not looking at you at all. Do you look down on an ant on the side of the road?"
"Bastard!! Don't get cocky!! You damned fly!!"
Erigor was about to explode. He, 'Shinigami' Erigor, had never been so insulted since his debut.
"Storm Shred!!!"
Sharp blades of wind cut through the air, shooting toward Kael.
Kael moved casually, almost like dancing, easily dodging all the wind blades Erigor sent at him.
Kael said in a relaxed tone, "That's not enough. You can send more. I can take it."
"Don't be so arrogant! Try this!!"
"Storm Wave!!!"
Erigor raised his hand and unleashed a violent tornado.
"Ooh! What strong wind! It's so strong I can't even open my eyes."
Kael casually grabbed a rail from the railway track.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The rivets on the rail popped off one by one.
Kael gripped the rail with both hands and swung it hard.
Boom—!!
The violent tornado was completely scattered by Kael's powerful swing.
"What?!" Erigor's eyes widened in disbelief. His Storm Wave was dissipated with a single swing.
Just then, Kael lifted the rail and took the stance of a javelin thrower. Erigor saw this and quickly moved to dodge.
Shu—!
The rail grazed Erigor's cheek, leaving a bloody scratch. Erigor's pupils shook. He had just barely avoided getting his head smashed by the rail.
Before Erigor could recover.
"Hm, did I miss? Then how about this?"
Kael grabbed the front of the train engine with both hands and, in Erigor's terrified gaze, easily lifted it over his head.
"M...Monster!"
