Elfman and Evergreen were dumbfounded when they saw Kael's new appearance.
According to what Kael had said, he would occasionally summon the spirits of deceased heroes from another world. He would then use Take Over on these spirits to transform and use their abilities.
From the time Kael joined Fairy Tail until now, he had already displayed seven different transformation forms, each one incredibly powerful. Now, he was actually revealing an eighth.
"Kael, is this a new form?"
"Yeah! Don't worry, the stats of this form are relatively low, and the mechanics are pretty average, so you don't need to be concerned."
"Come! Let me see your strength!"
Hearing Kael's words, Evergreen and Elfman didn't believe him for a second. None of Kael's transformations were average; they were all monsters.
"Elfman, we have no choice but to go all in!"
Even though Evergreen had some lingering trauma regarding Kael, most of that trauma came from his Satoru Gojo transformation.
In that form, none of her moves could even touch Kael. As long as it wasn't that specific transformation, she felt that she and Elfman had a fighting chance if they worked together.

Elfman knew there was no retreat now. He could only make his move.
"Full-Body Take Over: Beast Soul!!"
Elfman immediately took over his strongest beast spirit, his entire body transforming into a massive Beast King with two horns on its head.
"Oooooh!!"
Elfman let out a roar and charged toward Kael.
A massive beast claw slashed at Kael. Kael stepped back, continuously dodging Elfman's attacks.
Crack! Snap!
The surrounding large trees were easily shattered by Elfman. In this form, Elfman possessed terrifying power.
"Get out of the way, Elfman!!"
Evergreen's voice came from above.
Hearing her, Elfman immediately retreated.
Evergreen flew in mid-air and said triumphantly, "Kael, in this form, my magic shouldn't be useless anymore!"
"Fairy Machine Gun: Leprechaun!"
Swish swish swish!!
Countless needle-like bombs were fired toward Kael below.
Kael's body moved with rapid speed.
Boom boom boom!!
The needle bombs landed on the ground, triggering continuous explosions.
"Ahahahaha!!"
Seeing Kael fleeing in such a state, Evergreen felt incredibly refreshed. Who was Kael? He was the man who had defeated two of the Wizard Saints, wiped out the Oración Seis—one of the strongest dark guilds—beaten Laxus until he couldn't fight back, and even forced the monster uncle Gildarts to admit defeat. Now, he was being chased by her. If the guild saw this, her status would skyrocket.
Soon, Kael ran to the edge of the sea.
"That's the ocean! This time, you have nowhere to run!"
Evergreen said smugly, but in the blink of an eye, Kael ran right onto the sea, standing firmly on the surface of the water.
"What?!"
Both Elfman and Evergreen were shocked. Kael was actually able to stand on top of the seawater.
"It doesn't matter. Just stay down and be defeated!"
Evergreen continued to fire her magic at Kael.
Rumble!
The seawater around Kael surged upward, forming a barrier that blocked everything around him.
Boom boom boom!
All of Evergreen's magic slammed into the water wall.
"Water? Water magic?!"
Crash————!!
Suddenly, the water churned, and two high-speed rotating spirals of water drove toward Evergreen.
This was a B-rank ninjutsu, Water Fang Bullet.
Evergreen quickly flew away.
"Fairy Bomb: Leprechaun!"
Boom boom boom!!
Evergreen detonated the scales she had left behind, destroying the water bullets that were chasing her.
"Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet Technique!"
A massive water dragon rose from the surroundings and slammed toward Elfman on the shore.
Seeing this, Elfman didn't have time to dodge and immediately raised his arms to block.
Boom———!
"Waaah!"
The powerful impact of the water dragon crashed into Elfman's body.
"Elfman!"
"I'm fine! I can take it!!"
Elfman gritted his teeth. Although the attack was fierce, Elfman had taken over the Beast King, which had naturally high defense.
"Is that so? Then how about this."
"Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique!"
A massive fireball, three to four meters in diameter, spouted from Kael's mouth and drove toward Elfman.
"Fire?!"
"It came out of his mouth!!"
They had only ever seen Natsu spout flames from his mouth. They hadn't expected Kael to breathe fireballs too.
As the blazing fireball roared toward him, Elfman immediately dodged to the side.
Boom————!!
The flames scorched and destroyed every tree they touched.
"Fairy Machine Gun: Leprechaun!"
Evergreen launched another attack at Kael. This move was fast and dense; very few people could dodge it entirely.
Kael casually flicked a kunai.
Evergreen's expression changed, and she hurriedly dodged.
Taking this opportunity, Elfman charged in front of Kael. His massive fists continuously slammed toward Kael, who dodged back and forth.
"Evergreen, I've got him pinned! Use that move!!"
Elfman shouted to Evergreen.
Evergreen froze for a moment, then her face paled. "You idiot! What are you saying? You'll get hurt too!"
"It doesn't matter! This is the only way to beat Kael!!"
"If you've made your choice, then have it your way!"
Evergreen wasn't the type to hesitate. Since Elfman was prepared, she wouldn't drag her feet. If they missed this chance, they would never defeat Kael.
Evergreen flew up quickly and scattered a large amount of magical scales into the air.
Seeing this, Kael drove a punch toward Elfman.
Bang!
Elfman took Kael's punch head-on, then grabbed Kael's wrist. He grinned at Kael. "Kael, you aren't getting away this time."
"Fairy Bomb: Leprechaun!!"
Evergreen immediately detonated the multitude of scales she had scattered.
Boom boom boom boom boom!!!
Countless scales exploded at once, triggering a terrifying blast. The surrounding trees, rocks, and ground were all devastated.
"Waaaaaaaagh!!"
Elfman let out a scream of agony.
After a long while, the explosion slowly subsided.
Evergreen rushed over and supported the wounded Elfman, her face full of worry. "You idiot! Why were you so reckless? What would I have done if you were killed?"
A smile appeared on Elfman's face as he said, "I'm an idiot, but this was the only way I could think of to beat Kael. And look, we won. We actually beat Kael!"
Looking at Elfman's pure and bright smile, Evergreen's heart couldn't help but beat a little faster. Looking at him like this, the guy was actually quite manly.
Elfman and Evergreen looked toward Kael together.
Elfman said triumphantly, "Kael, we won."
Kael was lying on the ground, covered in wounds. He pressed his index and middle fingers together and pointed at Elfman and Evergreen. The two thought Kael was going to keep fighting, but instead, Kael's fingers pointed to the side.
The two looked over and saw another Kael standing there completely unharmed, exactly as he had looked when they first saw him.
The pupils of Elfman and Evergreen shrank as they cried out in unison: "How is this possible?!"
