Gildarts shouted in panic. Even someone as powerful as him had no intention of fighting back; he knew this thing was an existence that humans simply could not defeat.

The black dragon Acnologia landed, the force of the impact shattering everything in the vicinity.
"This is a joke, right?!"
"What kind of destructive power is this?!"
"Get back to the ship!!"
"Run!! Everyone, we're going home together!! Back to Fairy Tail!!"
As they ran, Carla spoke to the anxious Wendy. "Wendy!! You can talk to dragons, can't you? Can't you do something?!"
Wendy explained, "It's not that I can talk to them!! Dragons are highly intelligent; that dragon can understand our language perfectly well."
Swish!
Makarov ripped off his upper clothing.
"Gramps!!"
"Master!!"
"Run toward the ship!! Don't look back!!"
Makarov shouted as his body rapidly grew massive. He grabbed Acnologia by the neck, physically stalling the black dragon.
"This is too reckless!! There's no way to win!!"
"Master!! Please stop!!"
"If that's the case, we're joining the fight!"
"I'll crush him!!"
The guild members all prepared to attack.
"Listen to your Master's orders for once!! You stinking brats!!!"
"The next Master of Fairy Tail is Kael!! All of you, survive!!"
Makarov roared at the top of his lungs.
"I'm a Dragon Slayer! If anyone is going to face this guy, it should be me—"
Before Natsu could finish, Laxus grabbed him to drag him away. "Let's go, Natsu!"
"Laxus!! You—"
Natsu was about to snap at him, but he saw a tear rolling down the corner of Laxus's eye.
The guild members understood that this enemy was truly invincible, and they began to retreat in tears.
Makarov felt a sense of relief as he watched them run. "I don't know what your goal is, but I won't let you take another step!! My precious children are behind me!!"
Makarov resisted with everything he had, but he still couldn't hold his ground.
RUMBLE————!!
Makarov's body was slammed down. Acnologia's claw pinned him by the chest.
"Uwaaaaaah!"
Makarov spat out a mouthful of blood.
Acnologia opened his massive maw, energy condensing inside as he aimed directly at Makarov.
Makarov, however, had a smile on his face. "I finally did something a parent should do. I have no regrets!!"
Looking at the energy ball forming in Acnologia's mouth, Makarov prepared to close his eyes and embrace death.
Suddenly!
A golden figure appeared in front of Makarov.
THUD————!!
The golden figure drove a kick straight into Acnologia's head.
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM————!!
Acnologia's massive body was actually sent sprawling by the impact of the blow.
His giant frame slid across the island, smashing through rocks and trees.
"Don't you dare touch Gramps!!"
Kael said, his voice cold as he stared at the black dragon.
"Kael..."
Makarov's body shrank back to its normal size. Looking at the back of the figure before him, an indescribable feeling rose in his heart.
Kael turned his head and gave Makarov a small smile. "Gramps, I've told you several times now. I'm not ready to be Master yet, so don't even think about retiring like this!"
"You're getting on in years; fighting isn't for you. You should just stay with the others."
"Kael, your magic..."
Kael's magic had been completely bottomed out earlier. Even if Kael was at full strength, he shouldn't have been a match for this thing.
"It's fine. My magic has recovered."
A few dozen seconds ago, Kael had been too stunned to react. But once he regained his senses, he immediately began recycling character cards.
His magic was empty, so it wouldn't recover quickly on its own. The best way was recycling.
Without any hesitation, Kael recycled Ace and Tsugikuni Yoriichi.
Yoriichi's stats were too low to keep up with his current pace, so recycling was inevitable.
Although Ace's stats were decent, he had shortcomings and was only a Purple Card, so he was prioritized for recycling as well.
After the two cards were recycled, Kael's magic finally reached 7 stars. Following the advancement, his magic capacity grew significantly.
He had now officially entered the minimum requirement for the Wizard Saints.
With his magic restored, Kael didn't hesitate. He immediately received Minato Namikaze. To face Acnologia, only Minato in Nine-Tails Chakra Mode had that level of power.
"No! Kael, run! This guy isn't someone you can defeat!"
"Gramps, I know. But we've already been targeted. There's no escaping."
Kael shook his head. Unless they hadn't come to Tenrou Island at all, or if he used the Flying Raijin to take everyone away. But doing that would likely lead to Acnologia turning the entire continent upside down. The world would fall into chaos, and he wouldn't be able to continue his missions to grow stronger.
So, all things considered, the best way was to follow the plot.
But before that, he was going to show Acnologia that Fairy Tail was not to be bullied.

Kael kicked off the ground with force, his body rushing toward Acnologia at extreme speed.
Before Acnologia could even react, Kael drove another kick into the dragon's body.
"ROAR————!!"
This strike made even Acnologia let out a cry of pain as his body was sent flying once more.
"He's so strong————!!"
The members of Fairy Tail were absolutely stunned by the sight.
Especially Gildarts and Laxus. Because they had arrived late, they hadn't seen Kael's earlier display of power.
Of course, those who had seen it before also noticed that the strength Kael was showing now seemed even greater.
In the clouds, aboard the Grimoire Heart airship.
By now, almost everyone in Grimoire Heart had lost their lives, though a few had managed to escape. Zeref had no interest in those few; all his attention was focused on Tenrou Island.
"How is this possible?!"
Zeref watched Kael kick Acnologia back, his eyes widening in disbelief. It was inconceivable that a human could contend with Acnologia, let alone make the dragon cry out in pain.
"ROAR————!!"
Acnologia roared at Kael, a violent shockwave overturning the earth as it surged toward him.
Kael stood his ground, his chakra shielding him from the impact.
"What's the matter? Been cooped up too long? Become so anti-social you've forgotten how to speak like a human? Then let me teach you how to talk!"
