Mangrove Grove 72 — Eustass Kid & Killer
"Damn it! Why the hell are G-10 bastards showing up in Sabaody?!"
"We can't run—fight back!!"
Kid had just finished assembling a gigantic mechanical arm from scrap metal. Laughing wildly, he charged straight at Enel.
"Magnet—"
"Annoying."
Enel didn't even look at him. He merely flicked his hand.
"Divine Judgment — Myriad Thunder!"
Countless pillars of lightning descended in an instant, completely engulfing Kid and his massive mechanical arm.
Within the blinding storm of electricity, only Kid's shrill screams and the nauseating stench of melting metal could be heard.
When the lightning faded, Kid lay charred black in the ruins, smoke rising from his body—his fate unknown.
"Kid!!!"
Killer swung his scythe-like weapons and burst forward at high speed, trying to rescue him—
But in the very next moment, Kuma appeared silently in front of him. His enormous palm pushed forward, looking almost slow.
"Pressure Cannon."
BOOM!
Killer was struck as if by an invisible siege weapon. His chest caved in instantly, blood spraying from his mouth as his body was blasted backward at even greater speed than his charge.
He smashed through three buildings in succession before being buried beneath rubble.
Mangrove Grove 49 — Commercial District — Hawkins & Apoo
Hawkins calmly drew out a straw doll substitute.
"Today's divination says I won't die…"
"Is that so?"
Enel didn't even glance at him. A lightning spear shot out, piercing Hawkins along with every straw effigy he had prepared. The overwhelming electrical output instantly overloaded the substitute mechanism.
The drums thundered again.
Another lightning spear manifested, striking Hawkins's true body before he could even hit the ground, blasting him through the air and pinning him brutally to the mangrove marked with the number 49.
"Damn it—what is this, an Admiral?! Who the hell did we piss off?!"
Apoo hid at a distance, triggering explosions with sound waves.
"Explosive Concerto!"
"So noisy."
After finishing with Hawkins, Enel frowned and snapped his fingers.
Crack!
A perfectly aimed bolt of lightning struck Apoo, cutting off his "performance" mid-note. His body convulsed, scorched inside and out, hair standing straight as black smoke rose from him before he collapsed.
Mangrove Grove 52 — Shipyard — Drake & Urouge
Drake transformed into an Allosaurus, roaring as he charged Kuma head-on.
Kuma simply watched him calmly—and at the moment Drake lunged, Kuma placed his palm lightly on the dinosaur's head.
"I know your file," Kuma said flatly."Former Rear Admiral… X Drake."
"You—"
"So… please be quiet."
Pop.
Drake's massive dinosaur body vanished in an instant, sent flying to some unknown corner of the world.
Urouge, relying on the Karma-Karma Fruit, endured several lesser lightning strikes. His body swelled as he roared and rushed toward Enel.
"This is my—"
"Divine Judgment."
Enel couldn't be bothered to listen. A final lightning pillar, as thick as a barrel, crashed down from the heavens.
In the face of absolute power, karma meant nothing.
Urouge's swollen body was driven straight into the ground, leaving behind only a scorched crater.
Mangrove Grove 8 — Coastline — Capone "Gang" Bege
Bege and his crew fled in utter panic.
"So this is the power of the New World…?!"
Watching member after member of the Worst Generation get crushed, Bege hid inside his castle fortress, believing himself safe.
What he didn't know was that Enel was already sitting cross-legged in the sky above the castle, golden staff pointed toward the heavens, a grin spreading across his face.
"Raigo."
A colossal black sphere of lightning descended from the clouds—not to destroy the island, but to press down slowly and precisely upon Bege's fortress.
The crushing lightning pressure caused the castle to collapse inward. Bege and his subordinates were ultimately crushed together with it, swallowed by endless thunderlight.
At the same time, Hawkins—having barely managed to transfer damage to his subordinates using the Straw-Straw Fruit and regain a sliver of strength—
Looked upon Enel, strolling through the ruins like a god of thunder incarnate.
And behind him, Kuma—silent as a mountain, yet far more terrifying.
At that moment, Hawkins finally abandoned all thoughts of resistance.
No matter how he read his tarot cards, the result was always the same:
Destruction.
So he chose not to act again.
He chose to play dead.
Because that was the strategy with the highest chance of survival.
Enel stood atop the devastated ruins, lightning arcing around his body. The sheer exhilaration of absolute domination made him burst into wild, contemptuous laughter.
"Yahahaha!!! With this pitiful level of power, you dare call yourselves the Worst?! What a joke!"
"Before the power of a true god, your so-called ambition and ability are nothing but the struggle of ants!"
"Remember this well—on this sea, there are people who will forever be an insurmountable abyss to you!"
"The authority of G-10 will not be challenged! And this god… is one of those abysses!"
His voice, carried by rolling thunder, echoed across half of the Sabaody Archipelago—overflowing with unmatched arrogance and tyranny.
Kuma stood silently behind him, acting as nothing more than a backdrop.
Yet that silence was more oppressive than any words.
In this moment, through their crushing defeat, the Worst Generation came to truly understand:
The waves of the new era were indeed violent and vast—
But before the "Natural Disasters" standing at the very peak of those waves, they were still far, far too weak.
At that moment, Kuma's massive body shifted slightly.
His Observation Haki spread outward—
Instantly locking onto two figures converging in a hidden corner, attempting to escape.
Straw Hat Luffy, Monkey D. Luffy.
And the one who had remained unaccounted for until now—
Trafalgar Law.
Fate's trajectory was indeed strange. Kid had fallen first, yet Law had ended up meeting with Luffy instead.
Kuma turned his head silently, looking at Enel, who was still intoxicated by his own overwhelming presence.
Sensing Kuma's gaze, the arrogant grin on Enel's face widened even further.
He licked his lips, his golden staff tapping excitedly against his shoulder with a clang, clang.
"So… is it finally time for the main course? Don't worry."
Enel patted his chest, wearing what he clearly believed to be a very "reliable" smile.
"When a god handles things, it's always steady."
"Steady… huh."
Looking at the barely contained lightning raging around Enel—and the unmistakable expression of someone who wanted to play—
Kuma let out a faint sigh.
He had very serious reservations about Enel's definition of "steady."
For Enel, "steady" probably meant not instantly reducing someone to ash—
Instead opting for lightning strikes, electric "therapy," and all sorts of flashy methods, thoroughly "educating" his target while savoring their struggle in the thunder until he was satisfied.
Still…
That did align perfectly with Dragon's request to "teach a deep lesson," and Admiral Gern Reginald Sigmar's tacit approval to "go with the flow."
Most importantly—
Kuma would step in when it truly mattered.
"Let's go," Kuma said in a low voice.
"This god can't wait!"
Enel roared with laughter, transforming into an even more dazzling bolt of lightning. Together with Kuma, he vanished into the sky—
Charging straight toward the location of Luffy and Law.
