"Hnngh~!" Lily stretched as she awoke from her alcohol induced nap...
"Wait..." She looked around the room, but her headache didn't help so she just negated the hangover to clear her head.
"Where am I?" She mumbled to herself as she looked around the sterile white room with one wall replaced with thick glass.
"You are in the Union containment room!" Tatania appeared on the other side of the glass, waving a robotic arm.
"Why tho."
"It's only for now!" Tatania quickly said, unsure if Lily was feeling. "You could be released when we complete a quest and get another seat, ok?"
"Ok, but I can just leave anytime I want." Lily shrugged and hopped off the bed. "This place can't hold me."
*ZWOOOM!*
A giant laser(?) blasted right through the floor, destroying the glass of the room... along with the half where Lily wasn't at.
Both Lily and Tatania looked down to see Nico and a boy with a canon down there.
"Sorry! Artifact malfunction!" Nico called up. "Anybody dead!?"
"No, we're fine!" Tatania yelled down and Nico nodded before returning to his work.
"Quite the coincidence." Tatania gave a blank stare to Lily.
"What?" Lily asked. "That wasn't me, I can't do that!" She quickly said after noticing what the gaze meant.
"If that's the case..." Her confusion almost made question marks float around her. "What is your ability?"
"Not telling." Lily looked away.
"Why not~" She whined.
"Because we're not friends." lily shook her head. "We just met after all."
"Aw..." She deflated.
"We have confirmation of a rotting corpse wandering the streets of New York." A new voice came from below. "We belive it is somehow connected to the UMA spoil mentioned in the quests and-"
"SICK!" Andy's voice echoed from above.
"Ney York, eh?" Lily and Tatania looked up to him. "Y'know I was getting sick of how tiny the mc-D's burgers were in Japan anyways!"
"They're bigger overseas!?" Fuuko apparently didn't know how the appetite of an American was.
"... She really was a neet, huh..." Tatania mumbled.
"Why is he so happy for an UMA by the way?" Lily asked her.
"Because he picked the UMA spoil as a quest." Tatania sighed. "And he dragged Shen into it too..."
"Shen?"
"The blue haired one."
"... Ohh! Well he deserved it." It took her a moment to realize.
"So why were you outside my cell?" Lily squinted her eyes in suspicion.
"I-I am your supervisor!" She waved her (robot) hands defensively.
"Well... you clearly are doing a good job..." Lily commented with obvious sarcasm.
"I know, which is why to keep supervising you, I'll be bringing you with me on my quest!" She made it sound like it was a good thing. "We'll be hunting the UMA eat!"
"..."
"It'll be a good chance to befriend the others!"
"..."
"... And make me a friend?" She poked her pointer fingers together shyly?
"Just how old are you?" Lily asked because, well, not every adult is this front about befriending random people they encounter.
"14 years old!" She shouted, making a peace sign. "You?"
"... 25." Lily sighed.
"Wow, you should have really eaten your greens!" Tatiana laughed. "Godd thing we're fighting UMA eat!"
"sigh..." Lily pinched the bridge of her nose before looking Tatiana in the visor.
"Was that a sore spot?" tatiana asked nervously, sweating bullets as Lily approached.
"What are you doing?" Lily was in front of her visor, completely blocking her view of the outside world.
Lily gave a bright smile, which was somehow very threatening.
"Teaching you a lesson." She took a step forwards, Tatiana backed up... this continued until Tatiana was backed into a corner.
"Wh-What are you going to do?" Tatiana's voice trembled through the speaker of the orb suit.
"Giving a little discipline for a little brat~" Lily made herself untouchable as she phased through the suit.
"!!!" Tatiana was obviously startled as Lily managed to get in... but also because-
"How did you get in!? Past the UN-touch barrier!?"
"So that's your negation, eh?" Lily smiled smugly as she reached a face to face position with the naked girl and-
"Uwe~" pulled her cheeks.
"Stahp iiit~" She tried to push her away, but she has no strength at all.
"Nope~" Lily said, making a pop sound with the 'p'.
*hic* "Please?" It was then she realized tears were flowing down the girl's cheeks.
"Ok ok... I didn't think that I was pulling to hard." Lily was confused, but before she could say anymore, Tatiana pulled her into a hug, wrapping around Lily like a koala.
"???" This action greatly confused her. "What is this about?"
"It's been so long..." Tatiana mumbled.
"What was that?" Lily didn't hear the second half.
*hic* "It's been so long since I've felt the warmth of a person!" Tatiana cried, hugging Lily tighter.
"..." Lily didn't, or rather couldn't say anything, so she just returned the hug.
Eventually, Tatiana fell asleep in her arms, smiling blissfully.
'It's so weird...' Lily thought to herself. 'I never thought I'd be the person who's shoulder somebody cried on.'
Lily decided to let her sleep and exited the orb.
"So-" Billy's voice echoed through the hall. "Why was she cryin' like that?"
"Not telling." Lily said and his hand approached his holster. "Just know it was happy tears."
He took his hand away from the holster and to his pocket.
"It better be." He grabbed a cigarette box and lit one. "I saved that girl a while ago, I don't want her to be sad."
Lily nodded despite the fact her was blind so she just said- "ok."
"Cool." He smiled. "But please wake her up because we still have a quest to strategize about before it's located."
"... Ok." Lily was about to knock on the sphere, but decided to enter to wake her more directly.
"Wakey wakey Tatiana."
"Five more minutes~"
Lily poked her cheek.
"WAH!" She was startled by the contact. "So it wasn't a dream..."
"Nope, but Billy's outside waiting on you so that we can make a strategy for UMA eat." Lily rubbed her head.
"Billy!?" She shouted.
"Right here." He waved with a smile.
"C'mon, lets go." Lily said as she went to step out before Tatiana grabbed her shirt.
"---nks"
"What?"
"Thanks... for earlier."
"It's fine, it was no problem!" Lily smiled, exiting the orb this time, following after Billy.

The place he took them to was a room with a curtain.
"Alright, guess you should meet the team!" Billy clapped his hands together as the curtain pulled back, reveling short figures as confetti rained from above.
"... wut."
