Nora's POV
"I think I need to take you up on that spa offer," I tell Lena, sinking deeper into the couch cushions as I extend my injured arm. Kevin positions his hand over the gash, golden light streaming from his fingertips as he works to heal the wound.
Technically, angels aren't supposed to heal humans this way, but I'm hardly ordinary, and if anyone has earned special treatment, it's definitely me.
"After tonight, I'd say you've more than earned it." Lena settles into the loveseat across from me. We're back at my house in Vivian Hill, and exhaustion weighs on me like a heavy blanket. All I want is to sleep for days.
Tonight cost us five coven members, with several students badly hurt. Two were rushed to the emergency room in critical condition. Charlette and Gideon are still at the hospital, while Jill, Reyna, and Ophelia remained behind to help with the aftermath.
