Nora's POV
The familiar comfort of home washes over me as I collapse onto our couch, propping my feet up on the coffee table with a satisfied sigh. The clock shows it's barely past noon, and thanks to my trusty light-blocking spell, we managed the entire drive back in blessed daylight hours.
James settles beside me, his presence immediately calming. "There's nothing quite like being in your own space again."
I stretch lazily, already feeling restless after our action-packed vacation. "True, but now I don't know what to do with myself. I've gotten so accustomed to constant entertainment and adventure."
His rich laughter fills the room as he pulls me closer, his arm encircling my shoulders. "I can think of several ways to keep you occupied. We still haven't explored certain territories yet."
Heat creeps up my neck. "Your matter-of-fact tone doesn't make me any more likely to say yes to that particular suggestion."
