"Hahaha! Fake! It's all fake!"

"This world doesn't have Uchiha Madara! There is no Sage of Six Paths! And certainly no Otsutsuki Kaguya!"

Under the crimson blood moon, at the center of the battlefield of the Fourth Shinobi World War, Menma Uzumaki stood atop the head of the Black Nine-Tails, laughing wildly as he was besieged by eighty thousand Shinobi Allied Forces.

Below him, the many powerhouses of the shinobi world wore solemn expressions. Over the past two years, they had grown accustomed to this madman who constantly raved about the world being "fake."

After his fit of laughter, Menma Uzumaki removed the white, three-eyed fox mask from his face. He felt the rhythmic throbbing of the transplanted Sharingan and the overwhelming sense of rejection from the world itself.

Fifteen years had passed since he crossed over into this world.

As a transmigrator, he had originally assumed he was Naruto Uzumaki. To his surprise, he was Menma Uzumaki. His parents, Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki, were both alive and well. This led Menma to realize that the world he inhabited was nothing more than the illusory "Limited Tsukuyomi" world.

In his search for a way out, he had spent over a decade growing stronger, collecting various Kekkei Genkai and secret techniques. He had even transplanted a pair of Three-Tomoe Sharingan and subdued the Black Nine-Tails, becoming an expert of "Beyond Kage" level.

However, no matter how hard he looked, he could find no trace or legend of Uchiha Madara, the Sage of Six Paths, or Otsutsuki Kaguya in this world.

Consequently, Menma Uzumaki delivered a "Great Spiralling Ring" (Dai Rasenringu) to each of the Five Great Shinobi Villages, instigating the Fourth Shinobi World War.

As the Five Villages assembled eighty thousand shinobi, Menma took the opportunity to expose the "truth" of this world.

Regardless of how many of those eighty thousand believed him, this fake world had already begun to reject him.

Feeling the rejection of the Limited Tsukuyomi world growing stronger, Menma looked at the white light shimmering on his body with a look of pleasant surprise.

He was finally leaving this world.

He just didn't know which point in time he would wake up in—whether it would be a specific era of the Naruto world, or if it was already the Infinite Tsukuyomi of the late Fourth Shinobi World War.

"This is my parting gift to this world." A small orb of dark purple energy condensed in Menma's right hand. At its center was high-density dark-attribute chakra, surrounded by a ring of Wind Style chakra that formed a planetary ring.

As the Great Spiralling Ring hit the ground, a pillar of white light shot into the sky. A massive explosion swallowed more than half the battlefield and over ten thousand shinobi!

Menma Uzumaki dissipated into the white light along with it.

Night of October 10th, Konoha Year 51.

In a forest outside Konoha Hidden Village, inside a secret delivery room covered in barriers, Menma Uzumaki slowly opened his eyes.

"As expected of the Yellow Flash."

"But what will you do next?"

A voice spoke from a very close distance.

Menma's eyes widened. He saw a man in a tiger-patterned mask holding him in one arm.

Turning his head slightly, he saw Minato Namikaze holding a blonde infant in his arms.

"Minato!" On a bed not far away, Kushina Uzumaki wailed in pain.

The Night of the Nine-Tails?

Wait, Minato is holding Naruto... then who am I?

Before he could think further, the paper bombs left by the masked man exploded, blasting Minato Namikaze out of the room.

In the instant of the explosion, Uchiha Obito used Kamui to bring Menma and Kushina into the Kamui dimension.

"Menma!" Inside the Kamui dimension, Kushina struggled to sit up, but her body was weak from just having given birth.

Wearing his tiger-patterned mask, Uchiha Obito swung two kunai attached to chains, binding Kushina in place.

Then, he looked down at the infant in his arms.

"Not crying or making a fuss?" Uchiha Obito suddenly felt that killing this baby just like this was rather boring.

Let the world know pain!

He wanted Teacher Minato to feel the agony of losing his closest kin!

What if he raised this child to be a villain and then had him destroy Konoha?

That seemed like an interesting game to play.

Thinking of the two sons of the Fourth Hokage killing each other over a decade later, the corners of Obito's mouth curled up slightly beneath the mask.

But, raising him by my side for over ten years is too slow.

Obito had no interest in playing house with a toddler.

So, after glancing at his former master's wife, Kushina, his body began to be swallowed by Kamui.

When he reappeared, he had arrived at the orphanage on the outskirts of Konoha.

"Menma, is it?" Uchiha Obito looked at the infant staring back at him with large, deep blue eyes, recalling the name Kushina had cried out earlier.

He left a Kamui coordinate on Menma's body, wrote the name "Menma" on a scrap of paper, and placed the swaddled baby at the entrance of the orphanage.

Obito was confident that Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki would not live to see tomorrow.

"Ten years from now, I will come looking for you."

With that, Uchiha Obito vanished into the Kamui dimension.

Hey, wait! At least knock on the door for me! Seeing Obito leave just like that, leaving him to freeze at the doorstep, Menma felt his mind collapsing.

The cold night wind whistled against his face. As a newborn, he had no mobility and not a shred of chakra in his body. He could only move his mouth and wail at the top of his lungs.

In the distance, within Konoha Village, a massive Nine-Tailed Demon Fox was summoned and began a rampage of destruction.

In an instant, the entire village was alarmed. Ordinary people, startled from their sleep, fled frantically toward the shelters, while shinobi rushed to the front lines to stop the Nine-Tails.

"Director, why is it so noisy outside? Did something happen in the village?" A childish voice sounded from inside the orphanage.

Creak—

The door opened. Nonō Yakushi, wearing a black and white nun's habit, walked out with a grey-haired child.

"Oh my!" Seeing the crying infant on the ground, Nonō Yakushi hurried forward to pick him up.

"Is it an abandoned baby?" Kabuto stepped up from behind, looking at the baby who had stopped crying in the Director's arms, then glanced around.

Nonō Yakushi checked the swaddling clothes and found a hastily written note.

"Menma... is that his name?" Nonō whispered to herself.

In the direction of Konoha, a massive dark shadow loomed in the night, its terrifying pressure felt even from this distance.

Seeing those nine tails, Nonō Yakushi—who had participated in many wars and gathered intelligence in various villages—guessed that a Jinchūriki might have lost control.

She quickly told Kabuto to wake the other children, preparing to lead them to the nearest emergency shelter.

It wasn't until the next day, after Nonō had settled the children and went into the village for supplies, that she saw the heavily damaged village and the grieving villagers.

After making several inquiries, she learned of the previous night's Nine-Tails Incident and the news that the Fourth Hokage and his wife had fallen in battle.
