After meeting the cohort of Cassie and Sunny I could say they are very strong and kind of oddball.
They had Changing Star who is mostly silent but a very strong leader.
Then they had my boi Sunny who is a little wrong in the head, he was literally arguing with his shadow. Which, I don't know how to explain.
Then they had Cassie the only member who is maintaining the whole cohort and the settlement, kinda feel sad but it's quite nice to see your friend suffering I thought while trying hard not to smile and lose my act of indiference.
Next we have Caster a legacy like me who has become quite old? Because I definitely remember he was a polished young guy of our age but now he looks like he is in his mid 20s puberty did him hard I think.
We have 2 new friends, A charismatic archer Kai who is way too polite and kind and we have a girl Effie who has the size of a beast and is never serious, heck she even tried to flirt with me.
Yeah oddballs.
And apparently we also have a informer inside the bright castle who was none other than Lady Seishang, yes the same Seishang who is a literal princess and is stuck here for more than a decade.
There sure are a lot of coincidences happening nowadays.
Well, my future self will see why there is a lot of coincidence, but right now I can only help them them gather this shards memories like dawn and dusk which can help us escape. Cassie and Sunny told me the story of this place also known as the forgotten shore.
When they told me about this place, about the shards .
I could see hope in their eyes, the hope of found a gateway and the hope of escaping.
Seing their resolve and hope to escape this place My resolved steeled.
Whenever I see them a cold realisation struck me the spell wasn't kind.
They were children who were stranded for years with no help from adults, no hope for return, they were shell of their previous youthful self.
I could only promise one thing that I will save them and help them return to their family away from this hell, not because I have to but because I want to. This is the responsibility of an adult.
Sunny's POV
I would honestly be lying if I said I wasn't missing this bastard. Even if we are very strong right now somehow this bastard is still comes out stronger than both me and Nephis.
But I still missed him. I quickly pinch myself ' Wait that sounds weird No homo'
But it felt strange Alan's sudden appearance was too coincidental
Like just when we are about to go for trip we got the support from the strongest sleeper I know. Is this due to that damn Fated?
Nephis POV
'Is he the assasin sent by the Song? ' this question keep popping up in my mind whenever I see him but for some reason I feel like he is not.
My mind are in a constant argument whenever I see him but the only thing my brain acknowledge is he is strong, stronger than me currently so his help is very much needed in our search for the shards.
"Right now we have the Midnight Shard, Zenith Shard, Moonlight Shard and Seishan have the Sunshine Shard" I explained Alan about the Shards we have in our hand.
"Now we are about to go to a expedition to find the remaining shards currently 3 shards are missing" I said while raising three of my fingers.
3rd person POV
"Hold up! Does the remaining memories really have shards in their name" Alan asked in a curious voice to confirm his doubt.
"Yes all three of them have shard in their name and all of them are ascended memories" Nephis answered in a very serious tone which confirmed Alan's doubt.
Alan blinked and asked with a very punchable smile" Is Dawn and Dusk Shard are the memories you guys are searching? If yes then fear not I have them"
The room was engulfed in silence because they know. All the shards were dropped from the fallen demons or more, but somehow this guy was able to get 2 shards.
That alone showed the person before them was strong, very strong.
The silence was stretching for far too long, they were just that schocked.
Nephis quickly cough to gather the attention of everyone and said in a serious voice, "Since Alan has the two shards than only one remain so we will take quick expedition after a week of preparation to get the last shards"
Everyone nodded and soon the meeting was adjourned
