Conrad entered the room and then circled the man like a shark. He took slow steps and was pretty calm about the whole situation.
"So."
"Are you going to speak or not?"
"Do not waste my time."
The man still sat in a meditation position. It seemed like he did not care Conrad was so close to him.
Conrad looked left and right to see if the man was carrying any sort of a weapon, and then he smirked.
"That meditation position is a condition for your ability, is it not..." he said clearly, mocking the man by making it easy to see that he can see and understand his ability.
The man was not the best poker player; as Conrad said those words, his face got ugly.
"So, it is true."
"When controlling and influencing others, you need to be what? Around one hundred meters from them and stay still while in a meditation position..."
"I wonder what you need to do to control others..." Conrad murmured and then shook his head.
"I am getting ahead of myself."
"I give you three seconds to speak."
"If you are not, I am going to kill you." Conrad said as he used "Ren" to intimidate the guy.
One look at the man, Conrad was able to tell that the guy had a nen ability and was a nen user but was not good or capable at all.
At least in terms of basics, volume of aura, everything was off and not great at all.

Conrad was about to attack to kill the man as he said, and then the man started talking.
"Stop!"
"I will talk."
Conrad said nothing and then waited for the man to talk.
"I work for the Ten Dons, at least under one of them. I was sent here to investigate and deal with you guys if possible."
Conrad thought for a moment. He had an idea why Ten Dons would send somebody to look for them, but he still looked at the man without saying anything.
He preferred not to ask questions but to let the man speak.
Both for intimidation and also not taking any risk.
Questions can be used for conditions, and without knowing the full capabilities of the man, there is no need to take any risks.
Confidence is good, but arrogance is not something he liked at all.
"They..." The man seemed to understand that Conrad wanted more, so he kept on speaking.
"They wanted to make a point that no people can hunt other mafia families..."
"You guys took a job from Heavens Arena and City Council and destroyed the Herivo Mafia family."
"The Ten Dons do not care about them, but they don't like the fact that people are attacking 'Mafia' in general and believe that it would bring more confidence in others who want to attack and destroy Mafia."
"So, they wanted to make an example of you and your friends..."

Conrad then asked.
"Good."
"Undo the actions you took on two people."
The man hesitated for a moment and then let out a deep breath, and with some change in his nen, two figures manifested beside him, more like dolls; one looked like Adarte and one looked like Anisa.
"Freedom," the man said, and then both of the dolls vanished; the man coughed up blood as the dolls vanished.
Conrad then asked.
"Now, tell me about your ability."
The man stopped for a moment and then wondered why he was asking about something like this.
But, looking at the eyes and power of this man, he knew that one wrong action and he would be dead.
His only chance to save his skin is to do whatever the man told him to do.
"I am a manipulator; the name of my ability is 'Quest Takeover—Freedom and Slave.'"
"I need to complete up to seven conditions, three must involve close contact with my target."
"After these conditions are complete, a doll of the target appears, and I can control them to do most of the things, but I can only influence heavily, not directly control."
"From them, my second ability, Slave Fulfillment, activates; I choose a word and a reaction to that word."
"If when controlling them I go to other targets and make them agree with the word and take a reaction from them three times, the doll of the target appears again too."
"When I start using an ability and a doll appears, I cannot move from my position, and I need to stay close to them."
"If I cut the range and move, the ability deactivates for a day, and I need to come in range and take position to activate again."
Conrad listened to everything and nodded.
"What a complex and futile ability that needs many conditions just to influence..." he thought.
He put his hands in his pocket and picked up a coin.
In less than half a second, the coin was enhanced with "Nen" by using "Shu," and then he shot it towards the head of the man.
"N—" The man could not say anything as the coin broke through his nen defense and exploded in his head like a watermelon.
The coin kept on going and broke through to building.
"Now, I need to talk with Adarte and Anisa about how they fucked up..."
