Conrad looked at the new form of the Black and White nen creature and nodded as he saw the differences.
"It is speed; physical capability has increased."
"Most likely all the other base stats of it too increased."
A second later, the black and white creature launched and attacked Conrad.
Conrad blocked the attacks with his sword and noticed that he was sloppy when it came to using his nen with the sword.
"Blade" is part of nen ability, but it does not mean that Shu and Ko and uses of nen cannot be used to enhance the power of the "Blade."
The starting conditions already made Conrad powerful and dangerous.
The adding of the pen into his blade for different uses made him even more threatening.
Still, he was not able to block all the attacks from the creature.
Conrad touched his shoulder and smiled. Truthfully, he believed this woman was not nearly powerful enough to make him feel in danger, but it made a difference.
Other than one or two battles, he never fought to kill the opponent in front of him.
It was a good practice.
While he was having fun fighting, Nilse felt an overwhelming amount of dissatisfaction with how everything was unfolding.
After using her ability and it being the second stage, she did not expect that this young man would have enough capability and mastery over nen to handle it.
"It seems like I underestimated his power..."
"I am not sure if I can kill him without the aid of Arjoe."
She did not think about Radey, as she knew that his purpose was to always stay close to the prince and let him live.
While she thought, for a moment she looked back due to some sort of a bad feeling and noticed another man with a steel bat.
"You are handling her?" the man asked.
Conrad smiled and nodded.
"Go inside," he said.
Nilse did not want to let the man go inside, but she could easily feel that this man was not too weak and controlling, and handling this guy with the blade was already hard, and she was not sure if she could do that anymore.
So, stopping another man, another NEN user, is not possible.
"I can only let Arjoe handle this guy," she thought.
Adarte opened the door and saw the long-haired man and the prince.
With one look at the room and people in the room.
He took a deep breath and shook his head.
"That skeleton covering the prince and the man holding it is some sort of a Nen ability."
"Considering that these are guards in the end, they must have some sort of a protection ability that can be counteractive or landmine-type."
"I suppose it is not about the room but the two individuals. If it was about the room, they did not need to hold hands."
"Holding hands must be a condition of the ability." Adarte theorized in just seconds; he let out a cold breath and stepped into the room.
Arjoe looked at him and then smiled.
"So, you are here to attack the prince."
Adarte was not fool enough to answer such a question from the enemy.
They are guards of a prince that existed more than a hundred years ago; it is highly likely that they may set up specialized nen abilities and cultivate them from the kids.
For a guard, a nen ability that would involve getting confirmation from the enemy that they are targeting the prince, the target they swore to defend, can invoke powerful abilities.
Adarte did not want to be the target of such an ability.
He looked one moment longer and then launched himself at the long-haired man.
"Fuck!" Arjoe said, and then in half a second, his two hands changed colors and turned greenish.
Compared to Nenn surrounding himself, his hands were dark green and glowing a little.
"Green means poison in most of the cases," Adarte thought.
But he did not stop; he did not need to touch the target to beat them to death.
So there was no reason to be scared as long as he did not get hit by the enemy directly.
Arjoe focused and took a grappling stance as he dodged to the right and swiped with his right hand.
Adarte blocked it with his bat and jumped two meters back.
"Hmmm," he murmured.
"There is some sort of effect on his hands, but I am not sure what it is."
It would be too naive to think that the green color directly meant poison.
It can be, but it is not certain.
While he thought and kept on strategizing,
Arjoe did the same.
"His swing speed and power are great!"
"If I can touch him somehow, I have a great deal of chance to activate the ability."
Like the others, the ability of Arjoe also did involve human sacrifices for power.
Arjoe was a transmuter; his nen ability was called that.
"Stored Life – Corpse Blast."
He also had a second ability called
"Stored Life—Corpse Blade."
Arjoe uses a dagger that he was given by the Matilda Kingdom; he was just a young kid when he was given it, and its name was.
"Ceremonial Dagger – Dagger Matilda."
This dagger can only be used to take life from an innocent individual.
When Arjoe kills an innocent with this dagger, the corpse of the individual and its emotions are the life energy stored in the dagger.
After this condition is met, Arjoe can use Stored Life – Corpse Blast or Stored Life – Corpse Blade to do different things.
Corpse Blast used the life that is taken to blast in front of him with death and life energy of the corpse, and Corpse Blade let him conjure a small blade that is sharp and durable.
Arjoe believed that for his Corpse Blast to be a sure kill against a Nen user, he needed to touch the target for about one or two seconds before activating it.
In point-blank, Corpse Blast not only has enough destructive power to destroy the enemy nen user, but it also activates the third and passive ability of the Stored Life—Store Corpse.
While every time he needs to activate the ability and use it for three hours of time, he needs to take a life with the dagger, if he activates the ability against an enemy and kills them with Corpse Blast or Corpse Blade, the stored life regenerates, and it gives him another chance to use either ability or stop using the ability and activate it again.
