Chapter 235 - Official One Star Hunter - Chapter 235

After Conrad left the Viridian Vein, he went to the city and then entered a relatively great hotel and paid for the room and then first took a shower to clean off the stench on his body.

After he felt great enough, he took papers from his bag and took a bottle of beer from the fridge and then sat down on his chair as he inspected the paper.

It was the details of the areas that he wanted to go to, including the Viridian Poison.

He first took another empty paper and then a pen and wrote about what he learned in the Viridian Vein location, about Viridians, Virdis, Izbis, and the nen conditions; he tried to hide the existence of the Dark Continent while he wrote to make sure that if something were to happen to this document.

The reader would have problems understanding where everything gets connected.

After one hour, he finished the paper and nodded as he looked at it.

"Great summary."

He also made sure to understand how important training in the Viridian Vein was for him; due to constantly fighting against filtering the poison in the air just to breathe, he managed to master Internal Aura Mastery.

This was something he named. It was about the usage of aura, gyo, and other applications on the organs and more in a surgical manner than it is in its simplest usage.

Not to mention, Enhancer and Emitter trainings of Biscuit all reached the high-level, he was still not capable of breaking ten thousand rocks with one rock but he was able to do it five thousand.

He can use his aura to emit himself up to fifty meters in the air, which he wanted at least a hundred meters, and he was already capable of detaching his aura and shooting it to the targets in a lethal manner, even for a relatively strong nen user.

"All in all, everything is great for me." Conrad said and then gulped down his beer, and then his eyes landed on the next location.

"Glacial Cradle." is the next place." he said to himself and smiled.

The reason for him to choose the Glacial Cradle is because, compared to the heat environment he designated for himself, Glacial Cradle involved an underground city and people living in this city.

There is also Blue Ice that is known to the general public, who can research about it, and a hidden knowledge that is known to hunters who may look into it that is called "Mystery Ice," an ice that is capable of freezing active "fire" like it was a statue.

The speed was so fast that the fire itself turned into a solid state of ice when exposed to this ice in a range.

"This underground place, Blue Ice and Mysterious Ice, is really interesting..."

"Considering what I have dealt with at Viridian Vein, I would not be shocked if these too have some connection to the Dark Continent."

Conrad at this point believed if something is too powerful, too mystical, and dangerous, it is highly likely that its origin is the Dark Continent.

If something is not that dangerous and mystical, it can be said that they would not be able to survive in the Dark Continent.

Any kind of a race, even an object that is lifeless but contains aura due to environmental reasons, poisons must have something that is peculiar about them to be effective in the Dark Continent.

Even Chimera Ants, according to the rating system of the Hunter Association, were not that dangerous when compared to the Dark Continent; the only real danger that Chimera Ants produced that was capable of living and posing a threat to other beings was Meruem and the Royal Guards.

"If I were to think like that, the Chimera Ant Queen and her reproduction system involve a huge nen ability that is hidden beneath her function of biological nature."

"By consuming huge amounts of "organic beings," she was able to give birth to a relatively new creature that takes DNA of whatever she eats."

"If the period of gestation and other dangers are considered to be limitations and conditions, it is no wonder why Meruem was too strong..."

"The Chimera Ant Queen and Meruem were too powerful because in their environment I would assume that thousands of queens die every day without even having a chance to eat their first meal to produce eggs for the first soldiers."

"Maybe a king being born is an event that would happen one in a billion times for queens, considering the dangers."

"In this known world, the human world, the danger was relatively not bad, so it was possible for the queen to give birth to the king while she was still under the rules of the 'Dark Continent.'"

Conrad smiled as his mind worked more and more, and he then shook his head.

"This subject is for another day."

"I should focus on the purpose in front of me."

He then rested for the night, and after a great breakfast in the hotel, he bought a ticket for the Diamond Luxury Airship again to have a great time going to The Azabu State (north of the Kukan'yu Kingdom).

After he entered the airship, he generally spent his time in the bar section and kept on eating great food and did not speak with any of the people, as there was no need to speak with the ordinary people.

While he was drinking and looking at the city below, his phone rang.

"Conrad," he opened as he said his name.

"It is Mizaistom."

"How are you doing?"

Conrad spoke.

"I am on an airship and doing good. What is the reason for calling me?" Conrad may seem rude, but he was not in terms of how hunters spoke to each other, especially if they were not that close to each other.

Mizaistom, on the other hand, phoned, smiled, and said.

"After everything, the Hunter Association gives you the star you wanted to have; the reason is for destroying Light Upon Us, a higher-B level criminal organization."

"Congratulations, you are now an official One Star Blacklist Hunter."

Conrad nodded.

"That is great to hear. Any bonus for it?"

Mizaistom laughed and then said.

"The association pays one billion yen to hunters who are deemed to fit to get a star."

"I will be sending it to you shortly."

"Take care."

Conrad smiled and then put the phone in his pocket.

"I would not say no to free one billion jenny at all."
