Chapter 259 - Neverending Hunt - Chapter 259

In the evening, Conrad made a reservation in the restaurant named Four Wing.

It was a pretty high-level restaurant and expensive, but Conrad did not care about these things at all.

He sat down at the table, at the corner far away from the other tables. Not much time later, Dali arrived wearing a simple black dress.

Her eyes glowed and her body moved with much more power.

Conrad, with one look at her, smiled.

"Now, this is interesting."

With one look at her, Conrad saw that the body of Dali had changed; a thin layer of aura was surrounding her.

"She was able to awaken her nen without needing an outside force..."

"She awakened NEN with meditation in just two months."

"If that is not talent, I would not know what talent is."

While Conrad thought, Dali sat down, smiling at Conrad.

"What is it?"

"Did you get lovestruck? Is that the reason why you are looking at me like that?"

Conrad laughed.

He looked at the server, and then the menu was given to them. In these high-level restaurant menus for women, there was not any price tag on them.

So, the woman can order anything she desires without thinking of much of it.

While the men had the price tags on their menus.

A pretty, old-school restaurant that valued being a gentleman.

"If you do not have enough money to pay for the woman, you should not come here," they were basically saying.

After several foods arrived at the table, Conrad and Dali started eating as Dali spoke.

"So."

"I came here for two reasons... as you can expect, the first, I guess?"

Conrad smiled.

"I have some… idea about it."

"But you are a different breed; that is all I can say."

Dali laughed.

"Oh..."

"Thank you, I guess. You are complimenting me when you say breed..." She furrowed her brows in a joking manner.

Conrad shook his head.

"Of course, I am complimenting you."

Dali nodded.

"Why the shake of the head..." she thought but did not say it.

She then took a sip of her wine and then spoke.

"With your document about "Nen"."

"I was able to open my aura nodes..."

"I am great at Ten and Zetsu, but Ren is still not good..."

"I guess..."

"Hatsu should not be possible either?"

Conrad nodded.

"It depends... I say it is best for you to wait to completely be great at Ten Ren and Zetsu before working on the Hatsu."

"Also, the material I gave you does not have any detailed information on Hatsu."

"So…"

"It is not needed to be too quick about it."

"Fundamentals of the NEN are the most important and also the most discarded things by the amateur NEN users."

"That caused many of them to die."

Dali silently listened. After she heard that most amateur nen users died because they did not give enough importance to the fundamentals of nen, she felt that Conrad was telling the truth and it was serious.

What Conrad said to Dali was not that wrong, and also there is a big difference between non-users that are capable and really not that great and amateurs.

The best example would be Phantom Troupe members and Hei-ly members under Morena Prudo.

After getting their own abilities due to the ability of Morena Prudo, most of them get too high on their nen abilities, and due to lack of nen mastery over basics, fighting capabilities, controlling their nen to fight, and reading the aura of the enemy, all of these important points become unimportant in their eyes.

That is cause for new users like them to be sitting ducks in most cases. At least for the new users like Conrad, Zodiacs, and the Phantom Troupe.

"So."

"I shall stay here in Yorknew City for some time."

"I want to leave when I understand about Hatsu and its details."

Conrad nodded.

He ate a piece of meat and drank his wine and then asked.

"Now."

"You should decide on your purpose."

"It is important."

"By purpose, I mean a target, a desire that you cannot shake off your head."

"It can be an action or an idealistic worldview; it does not matter as long as you are obsessed with it."

Dali, hearing these words, inherently understood that this was no small talk or date talk from Conrad at all.

It was about her later studies and Nenn; she answered in just two seconds.

"I want to unravel the mysteries of the world around us, explore, and know!"

"I want to know the size of our planet, leave our planet, and discover more natural areas that come into their own."

Conrad nodded.

"So, you are an explorer."

"You live to explore new places, to see the new things as a new user."

Dali smiled, and her eyes lowered.

"Yes."

"That is my reason to live; that is why I live in the first place."

Conrad nodded.

He also could not help but remember an individual that he knows and all the people who read and watched Hunter x Hunter to know.

Ging Freecss.

When Gon asked about what he wanted to do in the sapling of the world tree that has not grown enough, Ging simply said that after giving knowledge about the Dark Continent, he wants "something he does not have."

A full freedom, always changing.

"A real hunter..." Conrad murmured.

Dali looked at Conrad and seemed to be lost for a moment.

Conrad laughed.

"Do you know about the first command for the Hunters?"

Dali shook her head, seeming to be interested.

Conrad smiled and said.

"A hunter should always be on the hunt!"

Dali thought on the sentence for a moment and smirked.

"Oh..."

"It seems I am like a hunter."

Conrad nodded.

"You are a hunter as long as you are on the hunt for something you desire."

"Neverending Hunt."

Conrad took a deep breath as he thought about these things too; in the end, his goal is to explore and discover new uses of "Nen" while getting more powerful to explore and find new and more interesting things with the people he liked to see.

Dali then asked.

"What kind of a hunter you are..."

"I mean what you feel within yourself?" Dali looked at the eyes of Conrad as she asked.

Conrad looked at Dali and answered directly without emotion or any thought at all.

"I am a Nen hunter, a Nen sage."
