Chapter 1: Guide for the dead

If you're reading this don't share it with anybody and if you're not one of our staff you're dead sooner or later. Anyways after some research and what we discovered beyond our existing reality I've concluded some stuff. Death is not what it seems it's more like a pile of random things scattered everywhere but I can't really put it into words. I've tried multiple times and nothing comes out right.

There doesn't seem like there's a clear God or whatever people believe in. After mimicking death and being there for a couple of days I discovered a few things. Actually more than a few but I'm trying to keep this organized. This place is about survival there's no goal but to survive so I put this guide together for people who are about to die.

THIS SHOULD ONLY BE SHOWN TO PEOPLE WHO ARE CLOSE TO DEATH.

For example a person with cancer or someone in hospice. If you're a staff member and have someone close to dying show them this. Read it to them if you have to. But if you show this to anyone else who's not near the end you will be fired and killed as well as any family member you're in contact with. I'm not joking they will find out somehow.

So here's the guide. From what I've seen there's no second death it's like you're trapped to continue surviving. So how do you get to this world?

Well you may already know it's by death either naturally or by your own hands doesn't matter everyone ends up in the same fate. There's no escaping it no matter what you believe or how you lived.

Another method is mimicking it but this is risky. Of course this is temporary. The process is pretty simple you have to be close to death or unconscious this requires a mix of pain and I don't really want to explain the details. If you're lucky you may end up here for a few days or months or even years depending on how close you get. Either way it's about luck and once you arrive you'll find yourself in the first world of the dead dream. I don't feel like explaining what that place looks like but generally that's where all newcomers go. It's like a waiting room but worse.

The first thing you must do is accept it. Doesn't matter how you do it just accept it. Don't fight it don't try to rationalize it. It's not peace and it's not punishment neither for the good or bad. Also the more distressed you are the more weird stuff happens depending on what world you're in. Some are physical some are not some are in between. Just don't stress and stay level headed or you'll attract things you don't want to attract.

But my best tip is settle. Find somewhere and stay there. Sure you can attempt to escape and I've seen people try but you'll just be more stressed out and feel more fear. The fear here is different from what you felt alive it's worse somehow. If you already left the first world find a place where you can feel calm or at least neutral and stay there for your whole existence. Don't keep moving around thinking you'll find something better.

Now let's discuss what you should look for. This will determine how long you'll survive or at least how much you'll suffer. Most worlds have these items scattered around random places sometimes hidden sometimes just lying there. You should make use of them when you can.

Pointy Teeth: Sounds gross and it is but they can heal you. A stab to the forearm cures injuries but be aware the deeper the wound the harder it is to heal. Also it hurts like hell. So it's best to get a few and keep them somewhere safe. Don't ask me where they come from I don't know and I don't want to know.

Weapons: These are not that useful your only job is to hide and survive. Trying to confront these...creatures may put you at a disadvantage because they don't follow the same rules we do. They seem to be immune to most damage some have weaknesses but they're hard to figure out and even harder to execute. Even so if you have no other choice it's best to carry one just in case.

No that's not right weapons are DAMN IMPORTANT.

Sorry I tried to sound I don't know professional but they're crucial even for dealing with humans not just the creatures. Some people are greedy maybe even more than when they were alive. So be careful who you trust and always have something on you.

Syringe: These are MOST IMPORTANT out of everything I'm listing. They could help your stress levels go down especially in high pressure situations when you feel like you're about to lose it. Using one helps you calm down and somehow it calms your surroundings too like the environment reacts to your state. They usually look long with blue liquid inside sometimes glowing sometimes not. But be careful injecting more than once may cause brain damage and internal bleeding even where you're already dead. Only take one dose. If you only have one MAKE SURE IT'S ONLY FOR EMERGENCIES not just because you're feeling a little anxious.

Water and Food: These won't be useful for survival you can't starve or feel hungry or thirsty. But they can lower your stress levels significantly especially if you find something you liked when you were alive. A few wouldn't be so bad to carry around. After all you'll be here forever so you might as well have something familiar.

Sleep: What am I kidding you can't sleep so scratch that. I've tried so many times and nothing works you just lay there awake. Your advantage is that you're not physically tired so make sure to use that well. You can keep moving keep hiding without needing rest but the mental exhaustion is a different story.

Clothes: These are important more than you'd think. Some worlds may require different ones for protection or just to blend in. Generally you should find clothes that are specific to a world as soon as you can. Your outfit from the living may not be ideal and might even make you stand out to things you don't want to be noticed by.

Reflect: Not required but you could reflect on the life you had and think about the good times. Loved ones your favorite hobby that one moment where everything felt right. It won't do much for your situation but it will keep you calm and level headed. Which again there's no debate you will suffer more if you're not. I've seen what happens to people who spiral and it's not pretty.

Backpack: Doesn't really have to be a backpack but anything that can help you carry stuff around. Could be a bag or a satchel whatever you find. In some extreme scenarios if it's too heavy you may wanna drop it or leave some things behind especially if you're being chased by something fast. Don't get attached to items more than your survival.

Anyways I have nothing else to say but for the person who's close to dying stop thinking positive. I know everyone tells you to stay hopeful but it doesn't work. You'll only pull yourself back from accepting what's coming. Nothing matters not your achievements not your regrets nothing. And I'm afraid. I'm afraid myself even writing this. I don't wanna die I wanna live and I can't sleep even when I'm back. I could probably sleep better if I wasn't curious about this place but I keep going back. I wanna live so badly it hurts.

Anyways thanks for reading this guide. I hope it helps somehow.
