"I know what you're worried about. Little Mo appeared in Lungmen as if out of thin air. Too many questions. You're afraid I might move against him."
He stopped in front of her.
"But the facts also prove that he is Edward's child. Even if his origins are unclear, I would never lay a hand on him."
Ch'en stared at him for a long time without speaking. Wei Yenwu met her gaze without flinching.
After a long silence, she finally answered.

"Don't coddle him just because he's male, Hui-chieh. Don't forget—he's a pure-blood Draco. And he's the 'Fire Dragon' the Lungmen underworld fears."
He gestured lazily toward the door.
"Go. Talk to Little Mo."
Ch'en didn't linger. She took the document and left.

As the door shut, a woman emerged from another room and sat down beside Wei Yenwu, muttering with amused surprise.
"Who would've thought that girl Hui-chieh was such a… big-time female chauvinist."

"Stay for dinner before you go, Ch'en. I'll cook for you."
