Raina looked at Feny, her heart unwilling to accept such an answer. She considered herself an exceptional person; even as a child drifting through the streets, she could run circles around adults. Now, she moved effortlessly between various organizations, gathering intelligence for Cal.

But Feny had suddenly told her that she wasn't actually exceptional—that she even had a significant flaw. How could she possibly accept that?

"Who are you?"

Raina stared at Feny, ignoring the presence of Calvin Johnson. She asked in a heavy voice, "Why should I believe your words?"

"You're the one seeking something from me, yet you want me to provide proof?"

Feny gave Raina a cool glance, having no intention of entertaining her. As he had said before, whether she was willing was her own business. If she agreed, he'd lend a hand; if not, she could do as she pleased.

Sensing Feny's displeased attitude, Raina felt a surge of fear. Socially adept as she was, she knew some people were not to be trifled with. Even without knowing Feny's identity, the mere fact that he was well-acquainted with Skye's father made her extremely wary.

"Forgive me, I got a bit emotional. Speaking of which, I still don't know how to address you?"

Raina's demeanor shifted instantly. She stopped demanding proof and leaned in close to him, her tone soft and her expression shifting to one of pitiable vulnerability.

Seeing Raina act this way, Skye felt a wave of inexplicable annoyance before Feny could even speak.

She stepped directly in front of Raina, blocking her path, and looked her in the eye. "Shouldn't you introduce yourself first?"

Raina froze for a moment at Skye's intervention. Then, with a smile that showed she took no offense at the attitude, she said, "You can call me Raina. I'm an orphan. If it weren't for Dr. Cal's help when I was little, I might have starved to death. I've wanted to repay him all these years by working for him."

The kind-hearted Skye felt a pang of sympathy upon hearing this. After a moment's hesitation, she introduced herself: "Skye Haiselze. Oh, but you can also call me Daisy."

Long-term habits aren't easily changed; Skye was still used to using her original name, but she quickly added the supplement.

"Feny Haiselze," Feny added casually from the side. Truthfully, he didn't have much of a liking for Raina, but he didn't harbor much malice either. She was simply someone pursuing power.

If he didn't have his system, he'd likely be on a similar path, chasing various forms of power himself.

Hearing Feny's name, Raina was slightly taken aback—not because she recognized it, but because of his relationship with Skye. They appeared to be siblings?

"Hello, Mr. Haiselze. Regarding the Awakening... could I have some time to think it over carefully?" Raina asked. While she didn't want to accept Feny's claims, she didn't entirely disbelieve him either.

After all, he might have already succeeded once. Thinking of this, Raina couldn't help but steal another glance at Skye, curious about what kind of ability she had awakened.

"Take your time. No rush," Feny nodded. Since Skye's mother hadn't been found yet, even if Raina wanted to awaken right now, he wouldn't be able to find a Terrigen Crystal to help her.

"Then, could I have a way to contact you?" Raina pressed. Calvin Johnson didn't need her anymore; to find protection, she had to find someone else. Although she didn't know Feny's true identity or strength, her intuition told her he was no ordinary person.

"Take mine!" Skye interrupted suddenly just as Feny was about to speak. She didn't want Feny having too much contact with Raina.

Raina was surprised by the sudden intervention, but seeing Skye's expression, she seemed to understand something. With a suppressed smile, she moved to Skye's side and said warmly, "Then I'll have to trouble you, Daisy."

She called her Daisy partly to continue pleasing Calvin and partly because she saw Skye didn't dislike the name. In terms of reading people and managing relationships, Raina was indeed highly skilled.

Watching the two women move to the side, chatting and laughing within moments, Feny turned back to Calvin Johnson. "She's the one you used to investigate the Obelisk, right?"

Calvin hesitated, then nodded. "She's very smart and knows her boundaries. I kept her around to help with the investigation."

"How did you figure out she was an Inhuman?" Feny was genuinely curious. For Skye, it made sense since her mother was one, but how did he spot Raina?

Calvin glanced at the two women nearby and whispered to Feny, "I guessed!"

"..."

Feny's eyes widened as he stared at Calvin, speechless. He couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for Raina; if an ordinary person touched that Obelisk, they would turn to ash instantly.

"You really have harmed quite a few people," Feny sighed softly. In reality, Skye didn't know that the files she had seen were slightly redacted—for instance, to save Jiaying, Calvin had once used an entire village of people to restore her life force.

Hearing Feny's words, a look of guilt crossed Calvin's face. He suddenly felt that his blood-stained hands were unworthy of touching his lovely, kind daughter.

"So, what do you plan to do next?" Feny asked, watching Skye being entangled by Raina. He took the opportunity to ask Calvin if he intended to stay in this place.

"I'm staying with Daisy!" Calvin said without hesitation. Despite his guilt over his past actions, he would not give up his reunion with his daughter.

Feny glanced at him but didn't speak. This was likely why he couldn't locate the two of them with his 'Compass' earlier—he had been worried that once Skye found her biological parents, she might leave him to start a different life.

Their conversation ended on that topic, but Skye and Raina were deep in discussion.

"Daisy, what is your awakened ability?" Within ten minutes, Raina had gained a certain level of trust from Skye, so she seized the chance to ask one of her most burning questions.

"Well..." Skye hesitated, unsure if she should tell Raina. She instinctively turned to look at Feny, just as he was walking over.

"Feny, Raina wants to know my ability," Skye said.

"I'm just curious. If it's inconvenient to show, it's no problem," Raina explained quickly. She didn't know Feny well enough yet; although she had heard some things about him from Skye, it was filtered through Skye's subjective bias and couldn't be used as a reliable reference.

"It's fine. If you want her to see, show her," Feny said casually, still feeling that bit of pity for her after Calvin's "I guessed" comment.

Raina's face lit up with delight, her eyes full of anticipation as she looked at Skye.

Skye didn't need much preparation. She scanned the room and spotted the surgical tools on a nearby tray. She aimed her palm at them; within three seconds, the tools began to clatter and vibrate.

If one listened closely, they were vibrating to the tune of the Symphony of Fate!

"Amazing!" Raina's eyes were filled with wonder and envy. She thought back to what Feny said about her own potential ability—precognition. She wondered what it would be like to use it.

Just as Raina was about to ask if Skye's power was metal manipulation, she saw Feny's expression change instantly. A long sword appeared in his hand, and he was suddenly encased in silver armor.

In the next second, a ripple distorted the air. A man with no eyes appeared before them, startling the two women.

Sensing the abnormal spatial fluctuation and having quickly equipped Incursio, Feny was surprised to see who had appeared. He hadn't expected it to be this coincidental—everyone was popping up at once today.
