*The team followed Lynn's instructions and went out to help the people escape. As they are leading people, some citizens told them of a family trap further out of the base. Sue eyes widens as he realize where it was*
Sue: we have to go save them:
Ren: That's insane, they are too far from the base. That place is packed with the north
Ho: do you know the family, sue?
Sue: it's my house, please
*they look at eachother*
Ho: let's go
Bell: if the boss says it alright then what are we waiting for.
*They fight through north soldiers as they reach the house. Sue rushes into the house, Ho follows him. They find Sue's sister and get her out of the house, but on the way out a grenade was thrown in their direction. With a quick reaction Ho pushes Sue and his sister into the house, her following shortly but the explosion hits her from behind.*
Sue: HO...!!!
*chen and ren rushes inside the house and to Ho*
Ren: Boss, are you alright
Chen: Of course she is not. A grenade exploded right behind her
Ren: F**k off, help me carry her. We need to get out of here
*they all left the house and rushed back to the base, north soldier following behind them*
Chen: Hey, can you carry her alone?
Ren: what, yea i can
Chen: Good
*he let's go of Ho body and let Ren carry it, he then turn around with his gun and fires at the north soldier*
Ren: What are you doing? Don't you dare act like a hero now
Chen: Just get out of here, you did the same thing just now.
Ren: that was different, you are wide open here
Chen: just go, I'll hold the off
REn: But-
Chen: I said GO!!!
*Chen sacrifices himself to give the other time to run back safely. Ren turns around and see Chen fighting the north soldier head on*
REn: F**K… F**K
*they made it safely and met up with Bell and Lynn at the base*
Bell: Is Boss okay?
Ren: she got hit with an explosion get her to the Hospital
Lynn: What about you Sue?
Sue: I'm fine, we need to get out of here. I need to bring my sister to an evacuation zone.
Lynn: Follow me, you have helped out enough.
*They follow Lynn to a safe place away from the war. There Ho is put in the hospital, Sue sits beside Ho's bed*
Ho: (waking up)is everyone okay?
Sue: My sister is safe, thanks to you.
Ho: that's good to hear, what about the others
Sue: Ren and Bell are with my sister right now, uhm… about Chen. I'm sorry
Ho: I see… he took the heroic route didn't he
Sue: he did
Ho: what else happened as i was gone
Sue: Well we held back the north as much as we could but they were stronger than us and they took us by surprise, but they retreated in the end. I'm sorry but we failed, both sides' casualties are very high.
Ho: Sue, maybe we should run away. Live in the countryside. Not care about the war.
Sue: What are you saying? And leave a lot of people to die. No
Ho: even if you continue to fight, there a limit in how much we can do
Sue: I know that I'm weak but after experiencing that level of danger, my sister almost died. I can't just leave now. No, I won't. I will keep fighting even if we lose, at least I can try to keep the casualties low.
Ho: (sigh) you're lucky I'm in this hospital bed, if not I will beat the shit out of you. Whatever, I know the face of someone that has his goals unshaken and you have one. Good luck, please come back safely.
Sue: I won't let you down.
*Sue leaves the room and goes back to the frontlines with a new found motivation. As the months pass we find out that south vietnam did indeed lose and the north took over. But Sue survived and came back to find Ho, they met again at the countryside that Ho mentioned. There Ho has been living with Sue's sister, and they welcome Sue back with a feast.
