With only ten days left until the tribal exchange, An Jin was holed up in her house, focused on making her lotion. She was also crushing the Red Fruits she had collected, intending to make sugar.
The chaotic shouts outside grew louder and louder, as if something major had happened.
She faintly heard someone shouting her name.
An Jin pushed the door open and stepped outside, only to find a dozen or so of the tribe's young females, with even Shana and her friends among them.
One by one, the females had cast aside their usual arrogance. They were now crowding noisily around An Jin's door, desperate to get some of that beautifying lotion.
They had been green with envy for a long time.
Shana forcefully suppressed the envy in her heart, putting on a front of anger and disdain as she was dragged into the middle of the group by several of her close friends.
She snorted. "If you all want to go, then go. Just leave me out of it. I couldn't care less!"
