Si Ye's lips curved into a wicked smile. He rolled over, pinning her beneath him, just as he was about to do something.
The door opened.
Fei Yuan returned from the morning court assembly, a bowl of hot soup in his hands. "Luo'er, come and eat."
Sang Luo pushed against Si Ye's chest. "Go play somewhere else."
A low grunt escaped Si Ye's throat. He lowered his head and bit her on the lips before finally letting her go.
Sang Luo got out of bed, slipped on her slippers, and sat down at the dining table to eat.
Si Ye lay flat on the bed for a short while before also rolling out of bed and going over.
It was a corn, carrot, and chicken soup. Sang Luo liked it and took several large gulps. "It's so savory! This flavor seems... who made this?"
"Lan Cang simmered it early this morning."
"Ah, Cangcang is here too?"
