"We just had a check-up a few days ago. It's not time for the next prenatal visit yet," Sang Luo mumbled sullenly.
She felt drained of all energy and didn't want to move an inch.
Biya raised an eyebrow and smiled. "Let's see how many you're carrying."
Sang Luo hadn't yet grasped the deeper meaning of his words. She blinked. "The report said there was only one embryo."
"With all my hard work these past few days, maybe there will be a few more."
Sang Luo jolted, her eyes widening. "Huh? But I'm already pregnant! How could there be more?"
"Doesn't Luoluo know that we of the Insect Clan usually have multiple births?" His smile was wicked and sated.
Sang Luo suddenly recalled nature documentaries about insects laying eggs. Goosebumps erupted all over her body, and her scalp tingled. She shook her head frantically. "No way! I'd be scared to death if I had to give birth to that many!"
