There are many galaxies and universes, but our story takes place in the Universe of the Great Empress Lilith, within the Galaxy of the Great Emperor Sorad, on the planet Shirtan.
The planet Shirtan resembles Earth, but it is a more advanced version. It is sovereign, massive in size, and possesses a fifth season known as the Season of Time, during which the land cleanses itself. Its inhabitants possess what is known as a Life Card (magic), which most people are skilled at using.
On the planet Shirtan, there are seven continents:
Amber Continent, Holl Continent, Epista Continent, Liechten Continent, Losad Continent, Ares Continent, Bailo Continent.
However, only three are considered Great Continents (the strongest continents). Every one hundred years, a ranking examination is held to determine hierarchy and assign new positions. Their ranking is as follows:

-Holl Continent
Within each Great Continent exist what are known as Great Empires. These are imperial families of pure blood, meaning they are not affected by the Season of Time. Each Great Empire governs many kingdoms to prevent the mixing of bloodlines.
There are three Great Empires in each Great Continent, and their ranking—based on status, purity, and power—is determined through an examination held every fifty years.

The Great Forest of Ofim is located on the Amber Continent, within the Lashmir Empire, in the Kingdom of Sartia. No one has ever dared to enter it, for anyone who enters, never leaves alive.
