The meeting with the Head went far better than PK had expected.
That man clearly sees something, PK thought as he walked toward the college the next morning.
April 1st.
PK arrived as usual, calm and unhurried—but what greeted him at the entrance made him pause.
Lana and Luna were waiting for him.
Not casually.
Not coincidentally.
They stood side by side, eyes lighting up the moment they saw him—every bit like teenagers freshly in love.
PK shook his head slightly, amused.
"Morning," he said, walking forward as if this were the most normal thing in the world.
The twins immediately fell into step beside him, their happiness impossible to hide. Their minds were still stuck on last night—the hug, the kiss, the warmth lingering on their cheeks.
They entered the classroom together.
Silence.
Every single student stared as if they had just seen a ghost walk in.
PK calmly went to his seat and sat beside Max and the others.
They looked him up and down, disbelief written all over their faces.
"Bro," Max whispered urgently, "why did you come with them?"
PK replied casually, almost bored,
"Don't boyfriend and girlfriends come to class together?"
The words landed like a bomb.
No denial.
No hesitation.
And the twins didn't refute it either.
Max's jaw dropped.
"Bro… which one? Lana or Luna?"
PK glanced back at the twins, then looked forward again.
"Both."
Pin-drop silence.
Then—
"BRO, YOU ARE OUR GOD."
"How did you even—"
"What kind of monster are you?"
PK only smiled as the lecturer entered, cutting the chaos short. The class went on, but no one was listening. Half the room kept stealing glances at him.
During the break, PK's phone rang.
Unknown number.
He answered.
A soft, composed female voice spoke.
"Is this PK?"
"Yes. And you are?"
"This is Selene," she said. "Tomorrow, my father asked me to take you to a place. For betting. I'll accompany you."
PK listened silently.
"Do you have a suit?" she continued. "If not, try to get one today. I'll pick you up tomorrow afternoon at two."
Before PK could respond, the call ended.
He stared at his phone.
Interesting.
What PK didn't know was what had happened after his meeting with the Head.
That evening, Selene had confronted her father.
"He's arrogant," she said coldly. "He insulted me and then acts like I don't exist. He's not worthy."
The Head simply smiled.
"Did you see the twins?" he asked calmly. "They've already fallen for him."
Selene froze.
"Dad… what are you saying?"
"Trust me," the Head continued. "PK will bring a massive change in the future. When that happens, I don't want you regretting your choices."
She clenched her fists.
"He insulted me."
"And yet," her father said, "I'm asking you to hold onto him—before it's too late."
After a long silence, he gave his final instruction.
"Tomorrow, accompany him to the betting place. Treat him well."
Selene said nothing.
But for the first time—
Doubt crept into her certainty.
