Chapter 70 - Chapter 70 – Unspoken Truths

They finally reached Law Manor. Only Aunt Eve, Lana, Luna, and a few servants lived there now. The main building was occupied solely by the three women, while the servants stayed in separate quarters nearby.

Hand in hand, PK walked in with the twins. Aunt Eve welcomed them warmly, but there was a faint blush on her face when her eyes met PK's. Lana and Luna noticed it immediately. The way Eve looked at PK was different—softer, hesitant.

They exchanged a brief glance with each other.

So even Aunt Eve…

Both understood, yet chose to remain silent.

The twins went to their room together, while PK stayed back in the hall and called out calmly,

"Aunt Eve, I'd like to discuss something with you."

They sat on the sofa. PK's tone shifted—calm, serious, and focused.

"I need professional, trustworthy, and experienced people," PK said. "Stocks, investments, real estate, an HR manager—people who can run a company efficiently. Most importantly, they must be loyal and willing to follow my decisions."

Eve listened attentively, her expression composed and professional. After a brief pause, she nodded.

"Alright. I'll help you with this. I know people who fit what you're looking for."

PK gave a small smile. "Thank you."

With that, he excused himself and headed toward his room.

A little later, Lana and Luna called Aunt Eve to their room.

When Eve entered, the twins looked at her seriously.

"Aunt Eve," Lana asked softly, "do you like PK?"

For a second, Eve froze. Her expression flickered—surprise, hesitation, then restraint.

"No," she replied after a moment. "He is your boyfriend. I wouldn't think of him that way."

But there was a trace of sadness in her eyes that betrayed her words.

Luna stepped closer and said gently,

"Aunt Eve… you can like him. We know. And we don't mind."

Lana nodded.

"We like you too. If it's you, we wouldn't hesitate."

Eve's eyes widened.

"You don't understand what you're saying," she said quickly, masking her emotions. "Enough now. Go take some rest."

She turned and left the room.

What none of them realized was that PK had been standing outside the door. He had heard everything.

He remained still for a moment, his expression unreadable. Then, quietly, he turned and walked back to his room—his mind heavier than before.

That night, in the silence of Law Manor, emotions lay exposed but unspoken, waiting for the moment they could no longer be ignored.
