Chapter 72 - Chapter 72 – Unspoken Yes

Eve did not answer. She simply looked at PK, her eyes steady yet uncertain, as though weighing every emotion she had tried to suppress.

PK did not rush her with words. Instead, he leaned in and kissed her softly.

Her lips were warm and hesitant for a heartbeat—then she responded, instinctively, as if the truth she could not speak finally found its voice.

The kiss deepened, not rushed, not forceful, but filled with emotions long restrained. When they finally parted, Eve's face was flushed, her expression a mixture of shyness and relief.

PK smiled faintly. "You don't need to explain," he said gently.

At that moment, he glanced toward the doorway. "Enough hiding. You can come in now."

Lana and Luna froze.

Caught.

After a second of embarrassment, they stepped inside, dressed in their nightwear, their faces glowing red.

PK looked at them with mock seriousness. "So this is what spying looks like?"

Luna pouted. "You were being too obvious."

Lana added teasingly, "We were just… supervising."

PK laughed quietly and pulled them closer, placing a gentle kiss on Lana's forehead first, then Luna's. "You both worry too much."

The tension dissolved instantly. Eve watched them, surprised at how natural it all felt—how warmth replaced the awkwardness she had feared.

They sat together, talking in low voices. Lana teased PK about how calm he looked for someone who had just unsettled three hearts at once.

Luna complained that he always pretended not to notice how much effect he had on them. Eve, still shy, smiled more than she spoke.

Before the night grew too late, PK asked simply, "Should we sleep here? Together?"

No one answered aloud. They didn't need to.

They settled in, close but comfortable—arms loosely around one another, warmth shared without crossing any boundaries.

Luna quickly fell asleep, her head resting against PK's shoulder. Lana mumbled something half-asleep about him being unfairly charming.

Eve lay quietly beside them, eyes open for a while, listening to their breathing, feeling a calm she hadn't felt in years.

PK smiled to himself.

It wasn't passion that stayed with him that night—it was peace.
