Chapter 103 - Chapter 103 – Quiet Neglect, Loud Affection

The day flowed effortlessly.

PK, Lana, and Luna moved from one store to another—dresses, shoes, skincare, little things that caught their eyes. Lana focused on elegance, Luna picked anything bold and playful, and PK simply paid, watching them argue over colors and brands with mild amusement.

They caught a movie together, sharing popcorn, subtle glances, and whispered comments that made Lana laugh and Luna shush them dramatically.

Before leaving the mall, PK paused near a boutique.

"I'll be back in two minutes," he said.

Luna narrowed her eyes.

"Suspicious."

PK returned with a neatly packed box.

"For Eve," he said casually.

Lana smiled instantly.

"She'll like it."

Luna smirked.

"Of course you didn't forget."

Each of them drove back separately, the night traffic glowing under city lights.

At Law Manor, the three parked their cars and entered together.

Something felt… off.

Eve wasn't at the entrance.

"She usually waits," Lana said softly.

"Maybe she's busy," PK replied, though his steps quickened slightly.

They went to their rooms, but PK didn't waste time. He turned immediately toward Eve's room.

Inside, Eve sat on her bed with her laptop open, eyes focused, fingers moving quickly across the keyboard. Her hair was loosely tied, glasses perched low on her nose—completely absorbed.

PK walked in silently and wrapped his arms around her from behind.

Eve flinched slightly.

"PK—!"

She relaxed the second she recognized him.

"When did you arrive?" she asked calmly, closing the laptop.

PK didn't answer.

He lifted her effortlessly, placing her on the edge of the bed, and leaned in—his kiss deep, sudden, and unrestrained. Eve gasped softly, instinctively gripping his shirt.

When he finally pulled back, her lips were swollen, her breath uneven.

"You didn't reply to my message," PK said quietly. "I was worried."

"I was working," Eve replied, trying to sound composed, though her flushed face betrayed her. "Interior designs, contracts—"

PK kissed her again, fiercer this time, leaving her no chance to finish. A soft sound escaped her lips before she could stop it.

"That's unfair," she whispered once he pulled away. "You can't just do that and complain about replies."

"I can," PK said with a faint smile. "Because I missed you."

Eve looked at him for a long second, then smiled helplessly.

"You're impossible."

The door creaked open.

Lana and Luna stood there, arms crossed.

"So," Luna said slowly, eyes flicking to Eve's lips, "we heard noises."

Lana sighed dramatically.

"And here we were thinking she ignored us too."

PK raised an eyebrow.

"You came fast."

"Of course," Luna replied. "We know that sound."

Before Eve could protest, both twins stepped forward.

"Hey—wait—" Eve began.

Too late.

PK leaned in, giving Lana a teasing kiss first.

"Unfair," Lana murmured with a smile.

Then Luna.

"Very unfair," she added, grinning.

Moments later, all three girls stepped back, equally flushed.

Luna touched her lips and clicked her tongue.

"Great. Now we all match."

Lana laughed softly.

"Looks like equality has been achieved."

Eve shook her head, smiling despite herself.

"You're all trouble."

PK looked at them—calm, amused, content.

"And you still choose me," he said.

The three exchanged glances.

"Unfortunately," Lana said sweetly.

"Always," Luna added.

"And knowingly," Eve finished.

They left the room one by one, leaving behind quiet laughter, lingering warmth, and the unspoken understanding that no matter how busy life became, none of them were truly alone.
