A blinding light erupted, briefly drowning out even the distant stars.
At the center of that light, Captain Marvel felt an overwhelming power crash into her.
No matter how desperately she tried to mobilize her energy, she couldn't resist it in the slightest.
It was like facing a massive star—so vast and heavy that resistance felt meaningless.

From midair, he saw hundreds of thousands of fully armed Ice Clan warriors assembled below, ready for battle.
Though the Ice Clan's technology was crude, their strength was not weak.
Ice Crystal Star's harsh environment limited their population to just over one million, yet nearly one-tenth of them had reached the level of flight.
A powerful warrior might not be able to fly, but anyone who could fly was certainly strong.
This alone showed the Ice Clan's considerable combat potential.
Seeing Thanos, the Ice Clan chieftain flew upward with a grave expression.
"You despicable invaders—accept the wrath of the God of Ice!"
The situation was clear. The towering purple figure before them was the invader. There was no point in talking—only battle remained.
Facing the chieftain's furious charge, Thanos simply crossed his arms and watched coldly.
"Waaah—!"
In the next instant, the Ice Clan leader tore through the air, crossing a kilometer in a flash. He raised his icy spear and thrust it viciously toward Thanos.
Seeing his enemy still unmoving, a flicker of hope rose in his heart.
His speed had already reached three times the speed of sound. With the divine artifact in his hands, he could shatter a mountain.
He refused to believe that Thanos's body could be tougher than that.
"Die!"
But just as the spear was about to strike, Thanos's figure blurred—and the chieftain passed straight through him.
"H-how is this possible?!"
Magic?
Of course not.
Thanos didn't use magic. What remained was merely an afterimage, left behind by his overwhelming speed.
The next moment, Thanos gripped the Tyrant's Blade on his back and slashed downward.
Poof.
The Ice Clan's strongest warrior and chieftain shattered instantly into countless ice fragments.
After killing the old man, Thanos looked down at the Ice Clan below.
Enraged by their leader's death, the Ice Clan warriors charged forward in unison, desperate for revenge.
Seeing this, Thanos calmly tightened his grip on the Tyrant's Blade and swung it casually.
In an instant, a purple blade of light tore through the battlefield.
Its terrifying destructive power wiped out huge portions of the charging formation.
A few minutes later, most of the hundreds of thousands of Ice Clan warriors lay dead.
The survivors stopped advancing.
Even if they lacked intelligence, watching their people die in droves had crushed their will. The resolve to fight to the death had vanished.
"Help!"
"A demon—he's a demon!"
"Run! I don't want to die!"
No one knew who fled first, but once one Ice Clan warrior broke ranks, the rest followed, scattering in panic.
Thanos did not pursue them.
He was growing bored of this one-sided slaughter.
Lowering his gaze to his own hands, a thought suddenly crossed his mind.
He wanted to see just how much destruction he could cause with a single, full-power strike.
