Chapter 49 - Caught in High-Definition

--: Jay Jay's POV: --

The master suite felt smaller than it had an hour ago. The heavy silence was gone, replaced by the distant sounds of Thyme's loud voice in the hallway and the heavy thud of suitcases being moved by the Section E units. I stood by the mirror, adjusting my clothes. I was waiting for him to finish in the bathroom, my heart doing a slow, heavy roll in my chest.

When the bathroom door finally clicked open, Keifer stepped out, draped in a cloud of steam. He hadn't put on a shirt yet. The morning light caught the sharp definition of his abdominal muscles and the way the water still clung to the hair on his chest. He didn't say anything at first; he just tracked me with a gaze so intense it felt like he was physically touching me.

Before I could move, he was in front of me. He didn't just walk; he glided, pinning me against the wall right beside the bedroom door. His hands came up to rest on either side of my head, boxing me in.

"You're still blushing, Jay," he whispered, his voice vibrating in the small space between us. "Every time you look at me this morning, you turn that beautiful shade of red."

"Because you're a pervert!" I hissed, my heart hammering against my ribs.

A slow, dangerous smirk spread across his face. "A pervert? After everything? That's the word you choose?" He leaned down, his lips ghosting over mine. "I think you forgot about our rule."

"What rule?" I tried my best to keep my voice calm and pretending that I didn't remember what he was talking about.

"Profanity Rule, don't pretend that you don't remember it. Or you are cursing because you want me to kiss you."

He didn't wait for a rebuttal. He crashed his lips against mine in a deep, wet kiss. He pulled back just enough to catch his breath before diving in again, his tongue claiming my mouth as his own. His mouth then moved to my ear. "You called me a pervert earlier also," he rumbled, his voice dropping an octave. "And now again! It makes it 2 profanities, but I like to charge intrest too."

"Shameless," I thought. Even though I was enjoying it🤭... Wait no I wasn't enjoying it...I really wasn't.

His kisses migrated lower, tracing the line of my jaw to the sensitive skin of my neck. He gave me deep, wet kisses there, moving to my collarbone, his mouth hot and demanding. I felt my knees go weak, my hands reaching up to grip his bare shoulders. When his hands found the hem of my top and started to slide upward, my eyes flew open.

"Keifer! Stop!" I whispered-yelled, grabbing his wrists. "Everyone is literally right outside! We have to go!"

He stopped, but he didn't pull away. He stayed there, his forehead resting against mine, his chest heaving. Then, he did something I didn't expect. He pouted. He actually started to sulk, his lower lip protruding slightly like a handsome, frustrated child.

I wanted to laugh, but I stayed firm. I leaned up and gave him a quick, sweet peck on the lips to settle him down. "We're going to be late," I whispered.

"Fine," he muttered, finally pulling back to reach for his shirt. "But don't think you're off the hook. This conversation continues later.😉"

As I turned to open the door, he leaned in one last time, his lips brushing the skin behind my ear as he whispered: "I hope you're ready, Jay... because once we're on that island, I'm not just going to kiss your boobs. I'm going to taste every single inch of you until you're screaming my name so loud the ocean hears it."

I felt my entire body ignite. I walked out into the hallway feeling like a walking torch, my face a shade of red that shouldn't even be possible.

--: Author's POV: --

The moment they entered the dining area, the conversation died. MJ let out a slow, appreciative whistle.

"Whoa, Jay!" MJ called out. "Why are you so red? You look like you're running a hundred-degree fever?"

"She's literally glowing," Kavin added with a knowing grin.

Jay Jay looked down at the floor, unable to manage a comeback. Keifer just walked behind her, looking smug.

At the hangar, three massive private jets were fueled and ready. One of Keifer's and other two were arranged by Thyme in order to get proper rest.

Flight 1:

Angelo took charge of the first plane. He had urgent matters to attend to at Fernandez Corp and couldn't afford a moment's delay. Following him were Grace and Denzel, who were anxious to return to their daughter, Grazel Jay. They had left the toddler with her nanny for far too long and were feeling the pull of parenthood. Eman joined them, needing to check on his restaurant before disappearing for the vacation again. Mica went as well, acting as a companion for Grace so she wasn't the only woman among the boys. Aries tried to board this flight to escape Percy, but Percy was like a heat-seeking missile. But Percy was faster "Don't worry, baby Aries! I'm coming with you!" He shouted, dragging a groaning Aries up the stairs. Ella followed, laughing at her boyfriend's misery. Eren also joined this flight to meet his various "girlfriendsss" back home, with Drew, Blaster, Calix, and Felix.

Flight 2:

This was the "loudest" plane. Ci-N had desperately wanted to stay with Jay Jay, but Rakki and David eventually convinced him that the second flight needed his logistical oversight. This plane carried the bulk of the energy: Rory, Edrix, Freya, Mayo, Kit, Yuri, and Josh.

Flight 3:

This left the final, private plane of Keifer: The F4, Gorya, Kaning, Jay Jay, and Keifer, Keiran and Keigan.

--: Inside Keifer's Jet :--

Once the plane reached its cruising altitude, exhaustion settled in. Thyme and Gorya passed out in the reclining seats at the front. In the lounge area at the back, MJ and Kavin were watching a movie with Kaning. Keiran and Keigan, being the energetic younger brothers, had claimed the secondary bedroom at the far end of the plane to play games until they eventually fell into a deep sleep.

Keifer caught Jay Jay's eye and led her into the private bedroom suite, shutting the door behind them.

"I need a nap," Keifer said. He leaned against the bed, a teasing glint in his eyes. "Yesterday was very comfortable... and I guess you were also comfortable too, right?"

Jay Jay opened her mouth to deny it, but Keifer was far too fast. He reached out and, with practiced ease, he yanked her t-shirt over her head before she could even register what was happening.

"Keifer!" she gasped, standing there in just her bra and pajama pants.

"I don't want you wearing a bra, Jay," Keifer said, his voice dropping to a dangerous, velvety depth. "You should be comfortable. It depends on you... if you want to wear it, wear it. Otherwise, take it out."

Jay Jay froze. She knew if she removed it, she would lose her resolve. He would start kissing her, she would start moaning his name, and with the F4 just on the other side of the partition... it was too risky. She chose to ignore him, keeping the bra on.

Keifer saw her choice and immediately started to sulk again, clearly not liking the fact that she was staying "guarded." He climbed into the bed, wearing his own hoodie, and held the hem open. "Fine. Just come here."

Jay Jay crawled into the bed, and he pulled her inside the hoodie with him. She lay directly on top of him, her chest pressed against his bare skin, her legs tangled with his. The vibrations of the jet were soothing, and the heat between them was intoxicating.

"I've got you," Keifer whispered, pulling her so close there wasn't a millimeter of air between them.

Within minutes, they both drifted into a deep sleep, tucked together like two pieces of a puzzle. But in their exhaustion and the rush to find comfort, they forgot one crucial thing: neither of them had remembered to turn the lock on the bedroom door.

——————

The hum of the private jet's engines had shifted into a lower frequency as the aircraft began its long descent toward the turquoise waters of the Philippines. In the main cabin, the atmosphere was light. Thyme was stretching his long limbs, Kaning and Gorya were chatting quietly about what a private island actually looked like, while MJ, Kavin, and Ren were lounging in the back.

"They've been in there for a long time," Gorya remarked, glancing at the 2 closed door of the private suites. "The pilot said we're landing in about 45 minutes. We should probably wake them up so they can buckle their seatbelts."

Kaning nodded. "I'll go," Gorya volunteered, standing up.

She first walked to the door where Jay Jay and Keifer were sleeping and gave a firm, polite knock. "Jay? Keifer? We're landing soon." There was no answer.

Gorya frowned and knocked again, much harder this time. "Hey! Wake up! We're almost in the Philippines!"

Still, silence. Gorya looked back at the boys, who were now watching with rising curiosity. With no other choice, she reached for the handle.

To her surprise, the latch turned effortlessly. The door wasn't locked.

As the door swung open, Gorya froze. Her jaw dropped. She didn't say a word; she simply turned back to the cabin and frantically motioned for everyone to come over, her finger pressed to her lips in a "hush" gesture.

Thyme, MJ, Kaning, Kavin, and Ren all crept toward the doorway, peeking inside like a pack of curious predators.

The sight inside was enough to make them all freeze. Keifer and Jay Jay were in a deep, peaceful slumber. They were fused together on the bed, Jay Jay lying directly on top of Keifer, her legs tangled with his. Most shockingly, she was tucked entirely inside his oversized black hoodie, her head resting on his chest. It was a scene of such raw, domestic intimacy that even Thyme looked stunned.

MJ started shaking with suppressed laughter, clutching his stomach. Kaning cooed softly, while Ren—who usually kept a straight face—let out a quiet, amused huff. A slow, elegant smile spread across Ren's face.

Kavin, ever the opportunist, didn't waste a second. He pulled out his high-end smartphone, framed the shot perfectly, and—Click!—the shutter sound echoed in the quiet room.

--: Jay Jay's POV: --

I was deep in a dreamless, warm sleep when the shift happened. It wasn't a sound that woke me first; it was the sudden change in the air of the room, followed by a collective intake of breath that felt like a vacuum.

I blinked my eyes open, my vision blurry and my head heavy. The first thing I saw was the black fabric of Keifer's hoodie just inches from my nose. I was still draped completely over him, my legs tangled with his, my chest pressed flat against his bare, warm skin. I felt safe, until I realized the room was no longer private.

My head snapped toward the door. My heart didn't just skip a beat—it stopped entirely.

Standing there, crowded into the narrow doorway, were Gorya, Thyme, MJ, Kaning, Kavin, and Ren. They weren't just checking on us; they were staring with eyes wide enough to be dinner plates. MJ had a massive, shit-eating grin. Thyme looked like he was witnessing a crime. Ren was leaning against the doorframe, his eyes twinkling with a rare, quiet warmth that made me want to melt into the mattress.

"Well, well," Kavin whispered, his voice dripping with pure, unadulterated mischief. "Talk about being 'comfortable.' I didn't know the private jet came with a cuddle-logistics package."

Beside me, I felt the bed vibrate. Keifer was stirring. He let out a low, gravelly groan and his arms tightened instinctively around my waist. He pulled me even flatter against his bare chest, his face nuzzling into my hair, completely unaware of the audience.

"Five more minutes, Jay," he grumbled, his voice thick and husky with sleep.

"Keifer," I squeaked, my face turning a shade of red so intense I felt like I was actually radiating heat. "Keifer, wake up. Now. Everyone is... everyone is right there!"

--: Author's POV: --

Keifer's eyes flew open. He took in the sight of his friends standing in the doorway, and for the first time in his life, the legendary, unflappable Keifer Watson looked genuinely stunned. He looked like a deer caught in high-definition headlights.

But his instincts were faster than his embarrassment.

As Jay Jay tried to scramble out of the hoodie in a panic, Keifer's grip became iron. He realized that in her rush to hide, she had completely forgotten she was only wearing her bra. He yanked her back down into the safety of the hoodie, shielding her naked back and shoulders with his own body as he sat up.

He leaned into her ear, his voice a low, protective rumble meant only for her. "Don't move. Did you forget you're not wearing anything except your bra?"

Jay Jay froze instantly, her face burying itself into the crook of his neck as the realization hit her. The blush deepened until even her shoulders and the tips of her ears were a vivid, burning crimson.

"What did he whisper?" MJ asked, laughing. "Is there a secret code we should know about? Why won't she come out?"

"Get out," Keifer snapped. His eyes were flashing with irritation, but he couldn't hide the fact that the tips of his own ears were starting to turn a tell-tale pink. "Out. Now."

"I always knew you were protective, Keifer," Ren murmured from the back, his voice calm but clearly amused. "But I didn't realize you'd literally turned yourself into her sleeping bag. It suits you."

Keifer glared at Ren, who just gave a small, graceful shrug. The F4 erupted into a chorus of whistles and laughter as they finally started to back away from the door. "Thirty minutes to landing, Romeo!" MJ shouted as he kicked the door shut, before leaving.

--: Jay Jay's POV: --

The second the door slammed shut, I let out a muffled scream of pure agony into Keifer's chest. I wanted to vanish.

Keifer was chuckling, the sound vibrating through his ribs and into mine, though his face was still flushed. "It's not funny, Keifer! They saw us!" I wailed, hitting his chest with my fist.

"It's a little bit funny," he admitted. He stood up, but he didn't let me go. He kept me tucked inside the hoodie, lifting me with him as he walked to the door. He reached out and made a very loud, very deliberate point of turning the deadbolt.

"There," he muttered. "No more guests."

I eventually climbed out of the hoodie, feeling incredibly shy, and quickly yanked my t-shirt back on. I refused to look at him as I fixed my hair.

When we finally gathered our things and walked back out, the atmosphere was electric.

--: Author's POV:--

Just as they came out, Keigan and Keiran also came out of the back room, rubbing their eyes.

"Why was the door locked?" Keigan asked, looking at Keifer. "Did you guys have a secret meeting?"

Keifer didn't miss a beat. "We were sleeping. Unlike you two, we actually need rest."

"Why does she looks really red, Kuya," Keiran pointing towards Jay-Jay, confused. "Is the AC broken in that room?"

"It's just the tropical humidity," Keifer lied smoothly, while the F4 behind him practically choked on their own laughter.

Keiran and Keigan were sitting little bit far from them as they were bickering about some fictional character like "This one is best, No this one is best"

On the other hand, As they all settle down, Jay and Keifer were sitting near F4 and Gorya, Kaning. They again started to tease them but they tried to keep their voice low so that Keiran and Keigan doesn't hear them.

--: Jay-Jay's POV:--

"Sleep well, Jay?" Kaning asked with a playful wink.

"You guys looked really... connected," Gorya added.

Keifer took his seat and buckled his belt. "Why didn't you knock?" he demanded.

"I knocked a dozen times!" Gorya protested. "You two were dead to the world. I thought something was wrong, so I opened the door. I didn't expect to find... whatever that was."

"It was a nap," Keifer said firmly, though Kavin immediately pulled out his phone. "A very high-definition nap," Kavin teased, showing the screen us.

I leaned over, seeing the photo, and my heart dropped. We looked... well, we looked exactly like what we were. Two people who didn't want to be anywhere else.

"Delete that, Kavin! Delete it right now!" I threatened, but they all just laughed, promising—with crossed fingers—that they wouldn't tell the others.

--: Keifer's POV: --

I watched them laugh, but my mind was on the photo. As the plane touched down on the private runway and the wheels screeched against the tarmac, I saw Jay Jay get swept up in a conversation with Gorya and Kaning, her back turned to us as they whispered about their first impressions of the tropical heat. Keiran and Keigan already started climbing down the stairs.

Perfect timing!!

Taking advantage of the distraction, I lagged behind and caught Kavin by the shoulder as he was heading for the stairs.

"The photo," I said, my voice low and serious so Jay Jay wouldn't hear. "Send it to me."

Kavin's eyebrows shot up to his hairline. A slow, wicked grin spread across his face. "Oh? So you want the evidence? Don't worry, bro. I'll send it... to the group chat."

"Kavin, I swear—" I started, giving him my most lethal death glare. But with my ears still glowing red, the effect was completely ruined. I leaned in closer, my voice a dangerous hiss. "Send it to me privately. And don't you dare tell Jay Jay I asked for it. If she finds out, she'll kill me... and then she'll kill you for being an accomplice. This stays between us. Got it?"

Kavin let out a stifled laugh, clearly enjoying my internal struggle. "Relax, Keifer. Your secret is safe with me. You guys looked happy. I'll send it to you privately."

As we stepped off the plane and into the humid, salt-kissed air of the Philippines, I looked at Jay Jay. She was still avoiding eye contact with the boys, her hand tucked tightly into mine. We had finally arrived.
