"You want to as well?" Gohan and Videl both froze.
"If Videl can, why can't I?" Lagss replied stubbornly.
"Lagss… we practice monogamy here," Videl said awkwardly.
"It's fine. I can be the lesser wife."
"The lesser wife?" Videl stared in disbelief.
Lagss looked directly at Gohan, "Master, do you only like Videl and not me?"
Gohan hesitated.
Videl immediately shot him a sharp look.
"What I feel for you is the bond between Master and student."
Lagss lowered her head silently.
"Lagss, nothing will change between us."
Videl added gently.
"I understand, Master."
Lagss forced a smile.
"I'm full. I'll head back first."
Gohan nodded quietly.
The next morning, Gohan went to the Gravity Chamber as usual, but Lagss was gone.
All that remained was a farewell letter thanking him for years of guidance.
After reading it, Gohan took out the Heaven-Reaching Mirror from the System.
Through it, he saw Lagss sitting alone on a cliff on a distant planet.
He immediately used it to appear beside her.
"Master!" She jumped in surprise.
Gohan sat down calmly.
"Nice scenery."
"How did you find me?"
"I know everything."
She remained silent.
"Come back with me."
"I want to travel the universe for a while."
"Still upset?"
"No."
Gohan smiled.
"Then how about becoming my little sister?"
"Little sister?"
"Yes. That way, we're family."
Lagss thought carefully.
"If I call you big brother, will you treat me the same as Videl?"
"Exactly the same."
"Promise?"
"Promise."
They hooked pinkies.
"Pinky-swear, a hundred years, no take-backs."
Lagss finally smiled.
"Big brother."
"Let's go home, little sister."
They returned to Earth.
On Mount Paozu, Goten, Trunks, and Videl stared.
"Big brother? Why is she calling you that?"
"I adopted her as my sister."
Goten shrugged.
"Makes sense."
Videl, however, clearly looked displeased.
Gohan then began teaching them the Time-Skip technique.
A month passed quickly.
Lagss and Gohan grew closer as siblings, though Videl occasionally felt jealous.
North Kai's Planet
Goku stood firmly on the grass.
"Haa!"
He transformed into Super Saiyan.
"Hah!"
He ascended further into Super Saiyan 2.
But this time, he did not stop.
He pushed his power beyond its limits.
The planet trembled violently.
"RAAAAGH!"
His golden hair extended down to his waist. His eyebrows disappeared. His brow ridge lowered. His aura intensified into a blazing storm.
Super Saiyan 3.
Goku looked at his hands.
"I did it."
North Kai stared in awe.
Earth – West City
Inside the Gravity Chamber, Vegeta sensed Goku's new ki.
"Kakarot…"
His fists clenched tightly.
He had just caught up, and now Goku had surpassed him again.
Mount Paozu
Gohan and the others also sensed the immense surge.
"That's Dad's energy!" Goten exclaimed.
Gohan nodded, "He finally reached Super Saiyan 3."
"Super Saiyan 3!" Goten's eyes widened.
Gohan smiled slightly, "Father has always pushed himself beyond limits."
Goten nodded in agreement.
