ASTHERIEN'S POV :-
Because of that dream, i couldn't sleep anymore. I stood up, as I had some midnight cravings. Went to the fridge, and there was no ice cream. I was roaming in the kitchen to find some snacks, but I don't even know where things are kept here.
I couldn't find anything so I was just roaming in the house looking at everything cuz I was bored. I saw someone sleeping on the sofa, in the hall. I went there, it was him, the television was on. I switched it off.
I don't know why but I bent down to look at him, i don't know when I sat there admiring him.
He looks so cute while sleeping, his hair are messy, his eyes seemed something different. His face is nothing like his personality. My eyes were reading his every feature. Slowly my gaze dropped to his lips, smooth and soft. And I remembered the weeding day, that fake kiss.
My hand moved by its own and reached his eyes to nose and then lips, tracing my finger touch there.
I realized, He isn't that bad as I expected. All those moments when he protected my from some dumbheads were rewinding in my head.
My hand was on his cheek, thumb tracing his lips, and he woke up, i rushed to remove my hand but he held it.
"Were you admiring me?" He asked with a teasing grin.
"No I wasn't...I was just.." i Muttered.
"Looking at my handsome face?" He said.
I rolled my eyes and stood up to go to my room, he was still holding my one hand, that resisted me to not to go.
"Leave it!" I said while trying to resist his force.
He pulled me towards him and made me sat on the corner of the sofa.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"Admiring you!" He said.
Not gonna lie, my heart skipped a beat.
"W- why?" I asked, while stuttering.
"You can't admit it but I can." He said, while looking straight into my eyes.
"Ad- admit what?" I asked.
"Should I say it again?" He said as he changed his position and sat in front of me.
"Wh- what?" I muttered.
"Nothing"
"Then let me go!!"
He didn't reply, I wasn't waiting for one. His gaze dropped from my eyes to lips, He bit his lower lip.
His eyes was just stuck there, he moved closer, I didn't resist that. He was too close, I could barely breathe.
"Can I?" He asked.
I didn't say anything, I don't want to but my brain wasn't replying. He went even closer, our lips was about to meet and alarm rang.
We pulled back, everything was so awkward, so I just rushed to my room. It was already 6 in the morning.
Was i too dumb? What was I even doing? A kiss? A real one?!!!! Nooo!
KAIZA'S POV :-
She went to her room. I was still thinking about it. But not now! I've to go to the office!
But today's a Sunday! I don't have to go there, atleast for today.
I made the breakfast, called her out. We were just eating.
Scilence was awkward, and there was no topic to talk about.
"About earlier-" i muttered.
"Today's weather is nice." She cutted me off.
She clearly doesn't want to talk about it.
"Well..today's Sunday...you're free na!?" I asked.
"Why?" She asked.
"The church?"
"Oh..right!"
"Uh i thought he was going to ask me on a date" she muttered almost inaudible, but I heard it.
I chuckled hearing this.
"What are laughing about?" She said.
"Nothing"
"You're cute!" I said without realising it.
"Ah...I mean...anyways get ready we'll leave soon." I said and went to my room after finishing the breakfast.
I changed into a simple black t-shirt and jeans.
She also came, wearing a black cropped t-shirt and blue jeans.
We were unintentionally matched.
"Auh..should I change?" I asked.
"Mm..leave it..if you want to, we're married anyway-" she stopped mid sentence.
"Yeah, couple goals right?" I teased.
She didn't reply back and went out taking her bag.
[In the church]
We prayed and sat there for some minutes.
My only wish was that whatever happens in the future but I just don't want to repeat the past.
We went out of the church and met her school friends on the way, they also came here to visit church.
"Oh hii!" She said and hugged one of her friend.
"Hey! We met after such a long time!" One of them said.
"Should we hang out together today?" Another girl said.
"Wait..is he your boyfriend?" Her friend asked pointing at me.
"No.....my husband actually."
"Woah! You're married!"
"My husband is also here, would you like to meet him" her friend said.
Their house was just a 5 minutes distance from the church, she took us and her other friends to her home, invited us on a brunch.
We had the brunch, all of her friend and she was gosipping. Me and her friend's husbands, that are mine friends too now, were talking.
My eyes was stuck on her, the sunlight fell on her soft black hair, her eyes was shining. Her smile was the brightest I could see. The world around me faded. All I could see was her, all I could hear was her soft giggles.
"Ooh, can't take eyes off her?" One of them teased.
She also heard it, she was clearly pretending like she Didn't. Looking at her I just smiled.
It was already 6PM in the evening, everyone went to their homes, so we were.
We had fun, she was asleep, in the car. We reached home. I didn't wanted to ruin her sleep, so I gently removed her seat belt, got off the car, and held her into my arms, and took her to her room.
I layed her on her bed, she was asleep, i slowly covered her from the blanket, i still just wanted to admire her, because I don't know when will I get a chance to next time.
