KAIZA'S POV :-
So it is finally the time, maybe it's better to reveal the truth I've been hiding for years.
I don't know what the end will be, but its necessary now.
I can't back up.
It was 1AM, and how can I sleep?
After all what happened...I can't.
I was roaming around in the balcony, it didn't even help an inch to calm my nervousness.
I am going to tell her everything tomorrow, I don't know how she will react.
I went to the almirah, there was a photo album, i looked at every picture, i don't know when I was in hall, admiring those pictures.
I sat on the sofa. Remembering all those small moments we all spent together as family.
Not just this, my dad...uncle just informed me that dad wants to see me, as early as possible.
How can I? Even if I want to, i can't.
This kevin...ash.
I'm already being pressured from all directions.
I wanted to atleast spend a calm day, with my whole family, Ash, my dad, our little child.
Wow, i even imagined how we will look like.
I even thought of his or her name.
Just then, ash came out of her room.
At 2AM?
I bet, she didn't sleep till now.
I fixed myself.
"Uh..I just wanted wa- water." She said.
"Umm.."
She drank the water and left for her room.
But seeing her, made me remember what happened last night again.
A drop escaped my eye. I don't know why.
I was just whiping it off.
She came to me.
"Are- are you crying?" She asked.
"N- no." I replied.
She looked at the pictures.
I tried to hide them, but I didn't get the chance to.
She saw them.
"Is this me?" She asked, pointing at herself on the picture.
It was taken before her memory loss.
I first looked at the photo then her.
"Yeah." I replied.
"Kai...tell me what happend." She said, while sitting right beside me on the sofa.
That was so random.
"At this hour?" I asked.
"Um hmm" she nodded.
"I can't sleep until I know the whole thing...please?" She added.
"Okay." I said, without any expressions.
So it is really right now.
Fine! I'm enough of hiding this!! Let's get over it! Now!
"Umm..you know, when we were 10, we met in the junior school..we became friends...then close friends..."
A slight smile appeared on my face, thinking of that era.
"Eventually, we again got into the same high school, then college. Let's say, that wasn't a coincidence. I made it happen."
I looked at her. She was looking at me with wide eyes, full of curiosity, and something i quite can't explain.
"We fell in love...but...destiny had some other plans.."
I stopped, I needed to prepare for this part, i didn't want to recall it again.
"My mom...she cheated on my dad, when the company was in huge debt, dad got heart attack, he got trauma, that ended him up in a...coma."
I gulped. And took a deep breathe.
"Her husband, they were pressuring dad to give their money back, while he already paid back all the money, he borrowed from mom's family. But still he wants the company, because it is now getting alot of profit..."
I again turned my face.
" I had to manage the company at the age of 18, my elder brother...Daniel...he went after money.."
Tears couldn't stop now.
"The only support...he left us too. To get me, an 18 year old child, who wanted to live his own freaking life! That loris!! My so called step dad, tried to hurt you. When he couldn't reach you..."
"Then..?" She asked.
"...he targated your parents."
Her fingers froze on the table.
"...They got into an accident....but your mom survived."
"My- my m- mom?" She asked, stuttering, her eyes trying to find the answers.
I couldn't hold back, and broke down into tears.
"He kidnapped..your mom, and shot-"
She turned her face, as soon as I said 'shot'.
She wiped her tears, which were not planning to stop.
I covered my face, head lowered.
"Then why did i lost my memories?" She asked, as she turned to me.
"...Because of the trauma." I said, trying to be tough, so that she wouldn't cry more, looking at me.
But, guess what I failed miserably.
She ran her hands from her hairs, a clear sign of her controlling.
"Let me ask you one last question." She said, wiping her tears.
"Who's kevin?" She asked.
How does she know about him?
"How do you...?" I asked.
"I don't know." She replied, looking at me with her soft swollen eyes.
"I don't really know, I just know, he's your brother, i don't know anything." I replied.
"But ash.. there's something i want to say.." I said.
"I'm sorry. I wish I never let you help me in mathematics, that made us close, you wouldn't have to be in this mess of my life."
"No..no...that wasn't your fault." She said, wiping my tears, while her cheeks were still wet.
"That was.." i broke down, i lowered my head.
She hugged me.
"I'm sorry, i didn't know anything, yet judged you." She said, while giving the tight hug.
I hugged her back, even tighter, feeling her whole warmth.
She losened the hug, wiped my tears off
"You know, I used to call you my universe, back then."I chuckled.
She also did.
Our mood was lifted up a little.
I shared everythingive been keeping in my heart from all these years.
"I love you, my universe." I said, slowly, with tears still in both of our eyes.
She smiled, looking in my eyes.
Like she didn't want to take her eyes off.
Before saying anything, she kissed me on the lips.
I instantly melted into it.
The kiss slowly deepened.
Everything was already said, not with words, but with eyes.
The longing, the unspoken feelings...everything.
At the end, I was not left alone in this unpredictable path.
This wasn't the whole thing, many more secrets are yet to be revealed.
But atleast, I have someone to discover them together.
