"Rory!"
The hotel room door was suddenly pushed open, and Yuel appeared in the doorway.
Rory immediately looked up. "Yuel."
The moment she saw him standing there, surprise flashed across her face, quickly followed by delight.
"I thought you said you wouldn't arrive until tonight."
Yuel strode into the room. Behind him came Jasper, Nix, Wen, and Paros.
All of them had arrived.
Yuel walked straight to the bedside and took Rory's hand, carefully studying her complexion.
His voice remained as gentle as ever.
"When we heard that you were pregnant and suffering from severe morning sickness, we couldn't stop worrying."
His fingers tightened slightly around hers.
"So we traveled here as quickly as possible."
Nix and Jasper immediately stepped forward as well, concern written all over their faces.
"Rory, how are you feeling now?"
Jasper's brows were furrowed tightly. "Rory, are you still feeling sick?"
Seeing the concern in their eyes filled Rory's heart with warmth.
